Thank you for the great video and idea on making this game accessible to little kids! This is one of my wife's favorite games, so I'm looking forward to playing this with our 4yr too now. Love your videos, always excited for the next one.
Just a quick idea on how to implement the coins back into the game. Maybe make another deck with the leftover (lower to mid value) cards in the middle that everyone can go for as Extra points at anytime. Then only place 2 cards from that extra deck face up at time and place coins as in regular game.

I think it would be a good idea to have a pile of coins (same Number as in the rules for different player counts) And you get the coins as you completed cards. In other words, if you are the first to complete a scoring card you take brass coin. You will continue to take brass coins each time someone completes a card until they are gone, then move onto silver coins. It’s essentially the same principle as the regular game, getting points for completing cards early. Now as far as your rules, do you lay out all of the objective/scoring cards at first and they choose which ones to go for, or do you do you draw one or two at a time to work on?

I was having them flip the top card of their goal deck and work on them one at a time. I stacked to deck so the lowest goal card is on top and each new card gets a little harder. If you wanted to give your children more to consider you could totally letting them work on a couple at time. Thanks for the coin idea! We will give it try👍👍

I was thinking about why would all pöayers dont spread out their own cards and if they would make it from left to right they get the coins in the same way as in normal game? So they have own goals but maybe would think in an other way how to complete them?
