That's not only 3 cans. Thats 3 cans + bucket of black paint for the bg. Nice piece anyway

You don't have to get a bucket of paint, you can choose a clean wall as well, but if it's a light colored wall you can do the same technique but with dark colors instead.

From the looks of the video that was black before OLUST started... Also, 99% of the video was demonstrating techniques for line work and fills with a very limited color palette.
