Casper van Doorn it was the first Mario game i ever played, thats why i rate it do high. Like literally both New Super Mario Bros 2 and Wii were the first Mario games i ever played, i remember all the nostalgia it gives me when i replay it on my 2DS or Wii

Nintendo should release an hd collection on the switch that includes new super mario bros wii & a deluxe port of new super mario bros 2 with the spin attack, 4 players, blue toad, yellow toad, coin rush dlc, a super mario bros 3 style item inventory, as well as the ice flower, boomerang flower, tanooki suit, penguin suit & p wing powerups.
I know this comment is a year old but that is actually an AMAZING IDEA.
Would be a good switch game near the end of its lifecycle.

I actually made a mashup of my own for this well purely for the sake of hearing them together where through carefully slicing that extra bit for NSMB2, the segment that happens after Bowser and Peach talking are played by both versions.

I actually made my own version too, but WITH the added part, where the Underground part plays with no extras, then after, added back in NSMBW.
At least NSMBU has a different one

@Lisa Myers-Lucas, I honestly wished that NSMB2 came out first so it wouldn’t have been called a uninspired version of NSMBWii. Plus, NSMB2 is more innovative than NSMBWii.
Innovation isn’t originality. Originality is making a completely brand new idea. Innovation is updating an idea and fleshing it out to the max. Yeah, NSMB2 may not be very original, but it is VERY innovative. If you don’t believe me, than play NSMB2.

I think you should give uploading it a shot since this guy’s edit still hasn’t been taken down. You’d probably be fine. The worst Nintendo could do is remove your video. Plus I’d be really interested to see what you came up with. The version in this video is pretty rough.

Well, almost, It's actually at 210 BPM, unlike the original's 222 BPM. For me, it took a while to align the both in, and after some trial and error, managed to get them to both sound the same.
