Also, i found with ChatGPT that you vsn ask it to explain difficult concepts as if you are young or using short simple sentences or explaining it as if it were telling a story, best menemonics for memorisation etc. Then i input my notes and ask it to wrtie out active recall MCQs or SAQS and then give me a mark scheme etc, Subhan'Allah its such a good and useful tool to learn, so make the most out of its abilities!
Also, Bing's AI is great. It gives citations as well, which one can use to read up more on the topic as well as use to verify the answer... seems to hallucinate way less than chatgpt.
There is a channel called arabic101. He showed a word from the Qur’aan he put in chatgpt and it gave a wrong meaning. So he advised to not use it for Islamic knowledge. Hope this is beneficial.

I'am not a university student but 30 lectures behind sounds crazy. you know better than me though lol
it is a lot but it depends what you study, for economics 30 lectures is a lot, it is a whole semester worth of lectures but medicine has 100 lectures per semester which is crazy

Does anyone know where the best place to find resources for reverts/people interested in reverting is or where there are meet ups for reverts?
I would honestly say the best would be finding a local mosque and literally just asking someone who goes there, having a person who can teach you is really good, a lot of Muslims are willing to hro genuinely as this is the best reward for our own selves, if you are a sister then the males can direct you to their wive or sisters etc. we had a revert brother who spent almost two years with us daily we were like family in the end and any Muslim family will be willing to do this. As for finding the mosque you can on google maps just search for local mosques in your area. But yeah please don’t delay this because the feeling you get once you become a Muslims (which in shaa allah) you will in the end is indescribable

I didn’t watch all the video but please correct any mistakes in the captions or the words you’re putting and showing on the video, for example at7:44 it’s written ( so once Allah said…) but zaid didn’t say that at all , and at 8:06 it’s written ( Shall I ) and a little bit earlier it was written ( shall I not ) , please correct any mistakes because there might be mistakes and typos in the translations of hadiths
Can you give some guidance on where to start with islamic revision, maybe some websites, books etc to help me get started, regardless i am starting but would be nice for some advice
Spend your time reading/ memorizing the Quran daily, get a tajweed teacher as well. Learn aqeedah. Learn arabic. And more
Wait did you mean revision specifically? Or did you mean general islamic studies?
Read Quran regularly, learn aqadeeha read book on tawhiid because the foundation of our religion. Kitab-at-tawhiid, the fundamental principles,foundation of the sunnah by imam Ahmed these are books you can find in English translation and explanations by senior scholars. Read tafseer sa’di. Learn Arabic regularly if you don’t know I recommend madinah book 1-3 for grammar. You can meant online for free.

they are upon Qur'an and sunnah but their akhlaq is not, Shamsi has been refuted by bigger and more knowledgeable people like Ustadh Abdul Rahman Hassan, Abu Taymiyyah etc... they have studied much more than Shamsi and are educated, Shamsi is still a good brother but the akhlaq is not there.
