She was so underrated...the timbre alone!
Despite the really bad video quality, her voice sounds stunning! This makes me appreciate the beauty of her voice the aria.

Why the higher passages in lower octave..was she just pacing
It's in the informations. It's was a rehearsal, all the first part, so she marks. A few hours before the concert, between 2 performances of Samson and Dalila.
I think its a rehearsal...normally take it down an octave to save the high notes
