I've watched several videos on making drawer pulls this evening. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you, sir!
Great to hear thanks!
Looks great, easy project
Thanks Jon. I am a relatively new woodworker in woodworking school and needed handles for a push-pull drawer for the coffee table I made in my Intro to Tables class. I made mine longer and a little deeper to get your hand to underneath it as a full hand pull rather than a finger pull. They turned out AWESOME! Everyone who saw them at school loved them, even my teacher. Thanks again.
Wow, can't believe I'm just now finding this video. Simple & beautiful handles from scrap~! Very nice, Jon~!!
Love the design. More so I enjoyed being educated as to the process. Very nicely done Jon.

Very nice. Just got done a project, and used walnut. I have many scraps and a few cabinets with no handles. Looks like I have a good excuse to go in the shop. Keep up the good work.

+Carl Jacobson Thanks Carl
Nice job... I'm going to build the TV stand as well... It's all inspired by you.
Incredible!!!!!!
+Cláudio Alvarez Botelho Thanks
Love the handles. I can't wait to make some. Would it be beneficial to make a couple of pilot holes for the screws while the stock is still square?
Very nice!
+AllesohneKabel Thanks
Jon, very nice.
+Scott L Thanks Scott
Almost 3 weeks late, but they look great. Why pulse the sander? Are you concerned about the level of control on such a small piece?
Beatiful pieces as always. I'm not a finish specialist so please...did you use oil, lacquer (varnish) or a mixture like danish or teka oil?
I like the not talking part the best of all. It made it more like a mystery/discover video.
very skilled craftsmen I like the way your work qulity and work ethic is very high that's the only way to set your self apart from every one else. good stuff
+iwantosavemoney Thank you, appreciate it
Simples e linda.
I made two pairs from walnut. They look gorgeous on my garage cabinets. One thing I would suggest if you have enough scrap wood is to add another inch in length and maybe a half inch in depth for a more natural fit.
So what dimensions are these?
Very nice
not every one have magic hand like you
inspirasi yang bagus,terima kasih..
muy bueno
Thanks
Hallo Jon, thank you for the great video! Can you tell me the dimensions again? I am not a native speaker and I am not sure if I got it right.
hi Jon, is this wood Ipe (the brasilian one)? Nice job!
good one
+eagle eye Thanks
Добрый день !!! есть видео у вас с изготовлением фасада?
Scrap wood never looked so elegant.
Nice and elegant :) sanding looked painful in this video though ...
+Ashley ha : ) thanks, yeah my hands are in rough shape from the cold
I should have done that for our new kitchen... knobs and pulls were nearly $300.
+John Conklin Thanks John
Красотища!!! Разве сравнится с этим бездушное пластиковое изделие?..
Jon always has a handle of things.
+David Bishop ha : ) thanks David
Si that motor oil?? Thanks
👍👍
+jmber27 Thanks
Get in touch with Woody Hyezmar, or at least download his free book. If you're starting out that's a way to go about it.
what kind of finish you used to those handles ?
I think just spray lacquer.
Love the build and the sander getting, but man - is it me? A load of those links to the other participants just fail. 😩
What is that stain/brown oil that he dips the handle into at 3:50?
Minwax walnut stain oil
@@JonPetersArtHome Thanks very much.
Since it appears (from the camera angle) that one side of your arc is flatter than the other, I've suggest something to quickly fair the curves. Draw and cut the first pull. Then trace it onto the second. Next flip it end for end and trace it again. You'll see the difference between the two halves of the first pull. Cut the second pull then use it to re-fair the first. I'm sure your arcs are fine for pulls, but this makes things a little more symmetrical with little effort. Thanks for posting the video!
Жутко ДОРОГИЕ РУЧКИ!
...
Very nice!
+Kev C. Thanks Kev
