This is how people adapt to the situation around. We should be satisfied for what we have rather than crying over something we don't have.
The calm, almost pleasant tone of the narrator's voice is fascinating. It's so informative and effective without being extremely dramatic even in the face of such horror...how very British. :)
Such hard times and even harder people, they kept smiling through and continuing to support each other, that's awesome

Who else is here after everything thats kicking off
WW3?
@@carfreeneoliberalgeorgisty5102 Potentially
And even 1 year after your comment... most people still aren't paying attention and hardly no one is prepared 😒
A real gem: flying glass will be the biggest killer same now as then.
Maybe this might come in handy soon.
In modern time if any government or public information film said, its up to you do this to protect your families, you would have certain areas of society demanding all is provided for them and they shouldn't have to.
This might come in handy 😐
Today, there would be utter panic!
Interesting
Anyone watching this now for tips? 🤕🤕
this is pretty much the same advice given in 1975 for surviving a nuclear explosion and fallout.
Which is insane when you think about it
@@jshipp5469 not really, if you are close to a nuke exploding you dont need to worry about it, but if you are far enough away you are interested in blast and heat so many of these measures are relevant also thickness of earth reduces penetration of radiation considerably.
i see they regurgitated this for the Protect and Survive booklet in the 80s 😁
Did anyone else reach for their cigarettes when you saw that woman smoking? I swear I’ll never quit while people still look so bad ass smoking in old film/footage
the viewer numbers in europe these days will explode
Surprised the kids weren't smoking as well 😫
Who's here after bodies?
Ось це була підготовка до війни. Не те що в нас.
