It's hard for the mom to give the kind of intimacy her daughter deserves because of her own wounds. So she does all she knows how to do by trying to help pick up the detergent. You can see her hesitation as she tries holding her crying daughter. And her daughter isn't too bitter to appreciate that this hug is what she wanted. So sweet.

Ok well, obviously we're talking about a fictional version of hell here so who really knows BUT in actual real world monarchies generally speaking the partner of a given monarch isn't actually technically a royal themselves. PoTato Head PokéMario I wouldn’t say divorced. It seems like Lucia hates Dave but somehow the creators still make it seem like she loves him. Of course she’s going to be rude, she’s the queen of hell. Despite all that though, she isn’t avoiding contact with him, she cares about him and her daughter. She let her daughter hang out with her dad, I wouldn’t call that a divorce. Lucia is just a really busy woman, she is, once again, the queen of hell. Plus, Lucia is a demon, the queen at that, so it would be obvious that Dave has a demon for a wife if they hung out in public. Satina on the other hand, looks like a sunburnt child to the people in this show. The people may be stupid, but if they see a 60ft red woman rise up out of the ground, it’d be kind of obvious that it’s a demon. They can’t hang out in hell for long either because of the scorching heat Dave would feel. She tries her best to hang out with Dave despite the limitations, so no, I wouldn’t call it a divorce, more like a long distance relationship.
These episodes are awesome. I would one day love to see an episode about how Dave and Lucia met.
