Amazing video. You summarised how you learned speedrunning, in the same way top runners did - building up step by step from villages, to oceans, learning strats along the way, and you even briefly explained the strats too! If anyone hasn't speedran before, this is amazing proof that anyone can complete the game in a good time, with a little effort! (and I'm not just saying that because i had a 1 second cameo 🤭)

I am watching this after watching your speedruning tutorials and I am now starting to speedrun and it really helped me understand how fast I should be going right now (I started speedruning around a week ago my best run was getting two rods at 53 minutes but I'm having fun and I didn't think I'll be very fast because I'm not that good at the game)

I have never attempted to speedrun in my life, I always thought they were intriguing tho and always wondered what it would take to do it... and I gotta say after just finishing watching this video, I am 100% inspired to never, ever attempt a speedrun in my life... Goddamn this stuff takes way too much time, patience and memory. Kudos to you Rek for all the dedication you put into learning it👌I mean you even done math with pencil and paper... that is some real commitment😂😂

Oh my gawd... I've watched a couple of your videos, like the melon harvest and you failed both those despite me rooting for you the first time, and just being encouraging the second time. Now that you actually finished a challenge, and not just through grinding like what you did when it came to the melon ones, but this one is such an extensive research, this could be a whole major or something that you did under 4 months. That last run had chills running up my spine. I realized I had to subscribe to you man. Props, this was intense.

hey parker, ive tried beating minecraft sub 20 for almost a year now and the closest ive got from 30000 resets is a 16:47 end enter and a 14 minute portal room. ive ran single instance my whole life but ive never even gotten a sub 20 yet alone my dream of getting a sub 15. i really hate when people that are below my skill get luckier because i always think “that coudve been me”, “i deserve it more”, but in this case i first thought it for you, that you got lucky which you confessed that you did and proved yourself that you could pull it off. i have huge respect for you, you are an inspiration.
