Smart lighting is probably my favourite smart home category, especially when it comes to adding color and interest. Yeelight is a smart lighting company you may know. They offer smart light bulbs, lightstrip and lamps that work with Apple Home. In this video, I’m sharing my thoughts on this creative and cool product - the Yeelight Cube.
These modular light cubes come in 3 different designs so you can mix and match, and there are plenty of effects to choose from including some music scenes, and yes - you can even create your very own patterns.
This works with Matter to fit right into your Apple home, though there are some limitations that you’ll want to be aware of before adding to your smart home.

I picked up 2 of the large kits for about 20 cubes and 5-6 power kits. The lights are great and I really love their integration with music. However, I have had a few no response errors and have had to factory reset several of the power modules. I am hoping those will stabilize and that some of the updates will happen as these are super easy and fun for creating some innovative colorful lighting.

I love the clock. I wish we had more options, any option, for a Homekit clock. My salary is too low to justify this guy. Maybe one day we’ll have an affordable Homekit clock. I’d like to see the temperature displayed from my own outdoor Aqara temperature sensor, timers, but I don’t want a full blown smart display just something stupid simple like this pixel style clock.

Definitely love mine. But their customer support leaves a lot to be desired, as they’re super slow in responding (we’re talking 2-3 weeks). What’s more, the app has been buggy at times with updates, and promised features (like a 12-hour clock) still hasn’t come.
