Well done John & Co., for putting this together. It brings back great memories, although when I started at RSY, the 'Science Block' on Richmond Hill was brand new, and it's sad to lose the most historic 'old school' where Lewis Carroll, amongst other greats, studied.
Sorry to be picky but: "It (Richmond School) joined with the Girl's High school in 1940". Possibly it did for the duration of the Second World War but full merger didn't happen until comprehensive education happened in 1971.

Spent my first year of secondary school here as well as being a boarder at the friary loved it to bits. Please don't destroy this wonderful building.
