- General Hospital January 20-24, 2005. After the hearing, Hopes grandmother shows up, Courtney tells the judge Jason's work is unsafe, and with all looking against them, Jason makes a fateful decision meant to help sam deal with a second baby loss. The mediation at the apt results in Jason and sam losing baby hope and sam is devastated.
Watching this in 2021 and this was some jacked up writing! They truly put this couple through hell! Whenever they had peace it was short lived but their pain and misery was forever!
Hope is 16 now I would like to see her come back and maybe add to the JaSam family.
They make everything Jasam do. It always complicated can they some peace they should bring this storyline back with hope ( the baby being a babysitter for Sam)

I didn't get that. Why would she want the baby to go to Courtney not Jason and Sam? I don't think Courtney would sabatoge the adoption purposely
@@whiteshell1 she told courtney that she could have the baby and she can send picture and call once in awhile! And if we saw Courtney scene you see her tell the judge that Jason wasnt safe with him, and we see Alcarzar tell Carly that Courtney is subconsciously ruining the adoption.

Exactly, if Bridgette wanted hope so much why would she tell Courtney she could have her, and Courtney should have took that to the judge and let her know Bridgette was not fit,
To raise a dog let alone a baby, but no all Courtney wanted to do was make sure that hope didn't end up with Jason and Sam and that they lived the life her and Jason was supposed to have in her mind🙄
There is another disappointing moment in this storyline I forget what episode it was but Jason finds out what happens to baby Hope. Bridget goes to live with her grandmother and abandons Hope again after I believe 2 or 3 months. The grandmother can't take care of her and places her in the one place Jason feared what would happen and that is foster care. Yup Hope ended up in foster care. I've been waiting for years for them to bring Hope back so she and Jasam can be reunited in a storyline of sorts.
I don't remember that at all. If that happened and Sam lived Hope like she said she should have fought to get her out. I have a hard time believing that the grandmother wouldn't go back to Sam and Jason but they didn't want Jason and Sam to have kids together.

Jason's biggest mistake in this whole situation was that, first, he didn't discuss with Sam what he was planning to do before he went on and did it. He invited everyone to solve the matter at hand and expected Sam to be fine with his decision without any problem or complaint. All this after she trusted him in making the best decision for all of them. Second, Jason should have waited until the Judge rendered her decision. That way the Judge would have been the bad guy. However, the way Jason handled the whole situation made him the bad guy and of course he broke Sam's trust on him because he never bother to tell her what he was going to do. He took her by surprise. He didn't allow her to prepare and to plea her case with him. He just made a decision and that was it. Then, he expected her to go along quietly with what he decided. The decision was not bad but the process that Jason implemented was highly inappropriate and questionable within his relationship with Sam. Jason should have known better and discussed everything before putting everything in motion. Sam reacted the way she did because she was not included in the decision making process. Jason didn't even listen to her when she asked him to wait for the Judge's decision. That's why she felt excluded and up to a certain point she felt betrayed by Jason who asked her to trust him. Furthermore, Same felt dismissed and not heard. When in a relationship the people in it need to remember to always consult one another, to consider each other feelings and to always be open to listen to what the other person is asking. In the situation at hand, Jason forgot to do all of the above. Hopefully, in the future, Jason would remembered the lessons learned throughout this experience.

No his biggest mistake was divorcing Courtney and being with Sam instead ugh I cant stand her...At least Journey scenes are hot and sexy especially the part where Courtney was shaving his face in the bathroom.
@@littleasskicker4293 Nah, Courtney annoying. That's why they killed her off. They already had 2 of her in the show, then they killed off another. Stuck with Elizabeth.
