Ultimately what made me stop watching after being a fan for thirty years. They changed Jason so much he was just unrecognizable over a decade ago before Burton left and the writing was trash. I give up.
Because Sonny and Carly are considered “older” (Sonny definitely is) and they went through their ridiculous period of makeups and breakups since 1999. And since Jasam are the “younger” couple, they still have to do their time and be unstable for the story. It’s stupid, but typical of soaps.
Sam doesn’t get the reality of anything or danger what’s going on. You gotta go home and take care of Danny and Scout. I love my JaSam, but they gotta break up for now and I’m sad about it but it’s the best. i heard she’ll be in danger soon! Sam gotta protect yourself and her kids, please listen to Jason and Alexis told you the same thing. Just follow the rules and you’ll get out of parole. Jason tryna protect the woman he loves. I couldn't be more disappointed in Jason. He's using the parole and Cyrus as excuses to cover the fact that he doesn't have the balls to go after the man actually responsible for all of this which would be Peter because he's more concerned with protecting Anna from the consequences of her actions than exonerating the woman he loves and reuniting his family. At least Sam was willing to fight while Jason's just rolling over.

I came back for Steve and Jasam. It’s been two years and they are STILL not giving me one of the only reasons I watch. I don’t watch for angst, but for mess where is the romance and the affairs?
I danced that dance for years for this couple and finally gave up about 8-9 years ago. Way too much change in Jason's character. They had him acting like a total idiot one too many times. The first split was poignant. She got shot, he left to protect her. Then the Jake snatch and he threatens to kill her for craps sake. Then the memory loss. But they played around too often with the whole Liz thing and him always being her emotional lap dog. We fans are only human!😂 I had enough and quit and only now considering catching up with some old scenes
A baby is not gonna make the writers any better at writting these shitty as story. That's hows hoe scout was creating because veiwers were bored with jasam (when Billy miller played jason) so they created scout in hopes to make them more interesting
Oh god no. They barely take care of the ones they have now. The kids spend more time at the Quartermaines than they do at home or with their parents. Sam's ALL about Jason and Jason only right now, and doesn't care about spending time with her kids. A new baby for Jason and sam wouldnt change anything. If anything, they'd end up neglecting that one too. Sam's too busy chasing after Jason and his d*ck to even truly care about her kids. Anytime someone brings up if she even thinks about Danny and scout before making rash and impulsive decisions, Sam's first words are Jason this and Jason that. About what Jason could be for them. Not about her thinking about seeing them or being with them, or what it would mean for her to be without them. All that ever comes out of her mouth is Jason this and jason that. Jason's dannys father, Jason's the closest thing to a father scout has, blah blah blah. She makes it more about Jason and what he would be to the kids rather than actually act like a mother and worry about what would happen if SHE never saw her kids again. She just cares about not giving up Jason. It's sad and pathetic. Them two having another kid, won't do any good. It'll just be worse for the kid.
I love Steve and Kelly. They have rocked Jasam for years. But I finally get why they can never have a happy ever after. Jason is a hired killer for Sonny's illegal mob ring(for years!). Morally, ethically, spiritually they violate the laws of life. You cannot get lasting peace, joy and happiness with those actions. And Jason will not leave Sonny. He refuses to GROW beyond his role as an enforcer. He can't even imagine being something other than a killer for Sonny. They don't deserve the peaceful loving family life they yearn for. They have not earned it. Period.

I love Sam and Jason so freaking much!! Sam is one of my favorite characters on here but today in this scene, she was really bothering me. They have to be separated for the kids safety! The kids lives comes over her seeing and kissing him. Jason was right, he was selfless and just amazing here in this scene. I understand that Sam is hurt, she has lost so much time with him and it isn't fair that they have to keep losing time with one another but for Danny & Scout they must stay a part.

I always found it odd, that Jason never mention Jake as his son or family. Scout is nothing to him.....yet he claims her as family.... his kid. If I was Elizabeth I would have something to say on him not doing & spending time with Jake. But then again Jake is rarely on the show, not even Aiden. They always upstairs or over gram's house. And they can stop showing Charlotte, get rid of her character and bring on Aiden, Jake , Spencer & Emma more often.

Since Drew and Jason were identical twins, DNA-wise Scout is Jason’s daughter. And with Jake he is not worried about him because he has Lucky and Franco but as a family unit it is Sam, Jason, Danny and Scout. Just like Jake’s family is Aiden, Cam, Elizabeth and Franco. Hopefully Jake and Jason are spending time together.
Cecil Pierre I said DNA-wise! Yes Scout is Drew’s daughter and she is Jason niece. But DNA-wise Jason shares the same DNA has Drew. Jake will always be Jason’s son and family but as a nuclear family it is Scout, Danny, Jason and Sam.
Of course Sam wouldn’t take the initiative to follow through. So Jason has to. This kind of impulsiveness and decision making, and not doing what is necessary was what landed her in this predicament in the first place. At some point, a line has to be drawn. If only she had an incident where she understood why the judge made the decision to send her to prison in the first place, and finally understand that in the eyes of the law and judge, what she did wasn’t necessary. As stated before, she didn’t NEED to kill Shiloh and could have just given a warning shot, or incapacitate him. If she doesn’t learn and grow from this, I could care less for if she gets back with Jason. She needs to be honest with herself and realize that as much as she thought she was prioritizing her family, she really wasn’t when the bad decisions she made could have landed her back in prison. If she thought it was painful the first time around, he second time around would be even more so after the stark realization that she, herself, is to blame.
Sam absolutely needed to kill Shiloh. His intention was to kill Jason. That is defense of a third party. However, the truth is that system is rigged against her from her being arrested at all to her being framed by Heinrich Faison and now, this parole officer who seems to be on a mission to catch Sam doing the slightest thing wrong; there is no way she is just doing her job, Maloney is as dirty as they come & most likely, working for Heinrich since he seems determined to keep Jason and Sam apart right now but at least, Sam has some fight left in her. Whereas Jason is just letting Heinrich ruin his family's life because he doesn't want Anna's feelings to get hurt even though she's protecting a murderer. Since when does Jason just accept injustice and let bad guys win?
imperfectlypretty you’re not looking from an impartial third party standpoint which is what a judge needs to do. She had an opportunity to incapacitate him without killing him. It’s not like he was holding a gun to Jason, or where Jason was completely unable to defend himself. He was down, but he could have kicked and tripped him. He could have caught the weapon. Jason was conscious and still able. So in the eyes of the judge, especially with his history, he was capable. Her(Sam) judgment is definitely questionable, and this is reminiscent of how Michael served time. Because of the bad decisions not just of the incident but also leading to. Consider how she kept trying to break the rules of her parole and decide to try to blackmail. Bottom line, if you cannot be impartial and see things from more than just the character’s perspective, you really cannot just deem it was unfair of what they charged her with and what they dealt. I can see where Sam is coming from. But at the same time, I can see where she needs to grow as a person. I can see where Jason is coming from and part of why he made that decision is because of his experience with Michael. Raising Michael as well as seeing him go to prison. Even Jason has to occasionally abide by the law. And what he said was true, that they really cannot be like how they were back then, because they have children, and what they do will affect their children. So suck it up.
You're right...Jason should at least give Elizabeth heads up about the trouble that's about to come down Port Charles and especially since Jake is his son....Jason you have two children, two sons...Jason should think about Jake's safety too....that's really sad,he doesn't. Since Jason been back and Drew was there it was like completion thing for Jake's attention but sad to say😢 since Drew been gone so is Jason spending any time with his oldest son Jake...both Sam and Jason are self centered...Sam wasn't like that when she had a family man, she loved spending time with her children and her man that wanted a family life...family time...

It's really ridiculous how people watch soaps. Sam I'd fighting for her family period her family is not just her children it includes the man she loves she has already lost him for 5 years she doesn't want that again. Children are not everything in people's lives they grow up to get their own lives. When Elizabeth kids were younger she was bear with them Michael spent more time with jasam than with carly. Lately liz is with cam for years we bearly saw Cameron. How often did you see alexis with Christina when she was little apart from when she was sick and custody hearings with sonny, it's the same for all the mothers on soap operas they talk about them but they are really seen together until the kids grow up. So to bash Sam for that is really stupid. Jason is also trying to protect his family the only way he knows how. You blame the writers this storyline is stupid and a drag everything these people are writing becomes a snooze fest because they can't wrap up a storyline. Jasam deserve to be together already for some the writers are just averse to that. This is the best couple on daytime and instead of steadying that they keep tearing them apart. Jasam fans need to walk away from gh already because at the end of all that when Peter is exposed he still will not endup in prison and he will not pay any price for what he has done. Maxi will eventually forgive him. Gh has a trend or should I say soaps ( villains enter the show do a lot of bad to a lot of good people they get caught and by some his hap they don't go to jail, they stick around get connected to a main character then everyone forgets about it and they become a central part of the show) they do it over and over again. Just look at nell after everything she has done micheal still has to deal with her. She is back cause more mayham and noone is going to be able to stop her. I know there are spoilers of Jason stealing time with Sam but after doing this... I want her to ghost him. If he wants to be apart he can be apart especially since while everyone is bashing Sam for not putting the kids first, Jason is the one putting Anna Devane first before his entire family because Peter's the reason why Jason can't be with Sam & the kids right now yet he isn't going after him for Anna.
This is why I haven't watched for months. The constant back and forth with them is stupid. The writers don't care what the fans want so what is the point. I do feel bad for them with everything they've been through to be together. At this point though I really don't care anymore. They'd both be better off with other people. I'm in the minority but for the last year I think JaSam has been a snoozefest. Maybe it's Kelly Monaco's acting I'm not a big fan of. I used to think Sam was a really exciting character, now she just seems so dull.

He's using the parole and Cyrus as excuses to cover the fact that he doesn't have the balls to go after the man actually responsible for all of this which would be Peter because he's more concerned with protecting Anna from the consequences of her actions than exonerating the woman he loves and reuniting his family. At least Sam was willing to fight while Jason's just rolling over.

I danced that dance for years for this couple and finally gave up about 8-9 years ago. Way too much change in Jason's character. They had him acting like a total idiot one too many times. But they played around too often with the whole Liz thing and him always being her emotional lap dog. Jason's dannys father, Jason's the closest thing to a father scout has, blah blah blah. She makes it more about Jason and what he would be to the kids rather than actually act like a mother and worry about what would happen if SHE never saw her kids again. She just cares about not giving up Jason. It's sad and pathetic.

I love Sam and Jason so freaking much!! Sam is one of my favorite characters on here but today in this scene, she was really bothering me. They have to be separated for the kids safety! The kids lives comes over her seeing and kissing him. Jason was right, he was selfless and just amazing here in this scene. I understand that Sam is hurt, she has lost so much time with him and it isn't fair that they have to keep losing time with one another but for Danny & Scout they must stay a part.

I always found it odd, that Jason never mention Jake as his son or family. Scout is nothing to him.....yet he claims her as family.... his kid. If I was Elizabeth I would have something to say on him not doing & spending time with Jake. But then again Jake is rarely on the show, not even Aiden. They always upstairs or over gram's house. And they can stop showing Charlotte, get rid of her character and bring on Aiden, Jake , Spencer & Emma more often.

Since Drew and Jason were identical twins, DNA-wise Scout is Jason’s daughter. And with Jake he is not worried about him because he has Lucky and Franco but as a family unit it is Sam, Jason, Danny and Scout. Just like Jake’s family is Aiden, Cam, Elizabeth and Franco. Hopefully Jake and Jason are spending time together.

Of course Sam wouldn’t take the initiative to follow through. So Jason has to. This kind of impulsiveness and decision making, and not doing what is necessary was what landed her in this predicament in the first place. At some point, a line has to be drawn. If only she had an incident where she understood why the judge made the decision to send her to prison in the first place, and finally understand that in the eyes of the law and judge, what she did wasn’t necessary. As stated before, she didn’t NEED to kill Shiloh and could have just given a warning shot, or incapacitate him.
If she doesn’t learn and grow from this, I could care less for if she gets back with Jason. She needs to be honest with herself and realize that as much as she thought she was prioritizing her family, she really wasn’t when the bad decisions she made could have landed her back in prison. If she thought it was painful the first time around, he second time around would be even more so after the stark realization that she, herself, is to blame.
Sam absolutely needed to kill Shiloh. His intention was to kill Jason. That is defense of a third party. However, the truth is that system is rigged against her from her being arrested at all to her being framed by Heinrich Faison and now, this parole officer who seems to be on a mission to catch Sam doing the slightest thing wrong; there is no way she is just doing her job, Maloney is as dirty as they come & most likely, working for Heinrich since he seems determined to keep Jason and Sam apart right now but at least, Sam has some fight left in her. Whereas Jason is just letting Heinrich ruin his family's life because he doesn't want Anna's feelings to get hurt even though she's protecting a murderer. Since when does Jason just accept injustice and let bad guys win?
imperfectlypretty you’re not looking from an impartial third party standpoint which is what a judge needs to do. She had an opportunity to incapacitate him without killing him. It’s not like he was holding a gun to Jason, or where Jason was completely unable to defend himself. He was down, but he could have kicked and tripped him. He could have caught the weapon. Jason was conscious and still able. So in the eyes of the judge, especially with his history, he was capable. Her(Sam) judgment is definitely questionable, and this is reminiscent of how Michael served time. Because of the bad decisions not just of the incident but also leading to. Consider how she kept trying to break the rules of her parole and decide to try to blackmail.
Bottom line, if you cannot be impartial and see things from more than just the character’s perspective, you really cannot just deem it was unfair of what they charged her with and what they dealt. I can see where Sam is coming from. But at the same time, I can see where she needs to grow as a person. I can see where Jason is coming from and part of why he made that decision is because of his experience with Michael. Raising Michael as well as seeing him go to prison. Even Jason has to occasionally abide by the law. And what he said was true, that they really cannot be like how they were back then, because they have children, and what they do will affect their children. So suck it up.

Sam I'd fighting for her family period her family is not just her children it includes the man she loves she has already lost him for 5 years she doesn't want that again. Children are not everything in people's lives they grow up to get their own lives. When Elizabeth kids were younger she was bear with them Michael spent more time with jasam than with carly. Lately liz is with cam for years we bearly saw Cameron. How often did you see alexis with Christina when she was little apart from when she was sick and custody hearings with sonny, it's the same for all the mothers on soap operas they talk about them but they are really seen together until the kids grow up. So to bash Sam for that is really stupid. Jason is also trying to protect his family the only way he knows how. You blame the writers this storyline is stupid and a drag everything these people are writing becomes a snooze fest because they can't wrap up a storyline. Jasam deserve to be together already for some the writers are just averse to that. This is the best couple on daytime and instead of steadying that they keep tearing them apart. Jasam fans need to walk away from gh already because at the end of all that when Peter is exposed he still will not endup in prison and he will not pay any price for what he has done. Maxi will eventually forgive him. Gh has a trend or should I say soaps ( villains enter the show do a lot of bad to a lot of good people they get caught and by some his hap they don't go to jail, they stick around get connected to a main character then everyone forgets about it and they become a central part of the show) they do it over and over again. Just look at nell after everything she has done micheal still has to deal with her. She is back cause more mayham and noone is going to be able to stop her. Can you imagine this is gh sonny cant remove a fly like nell from his family? It's stupid and ridiculous yet they keep doing it because you all keep watching so many TV series out there to watch instead of these never ending nonsensical storylines. And the writers are trying to get you all fed up with jasam so they can break them up and not have another 2017/2018 fan fiasco. And it's working. Wise up people if they don't have viewers they can't continue writing crap for anyone. Dian has no power or trick up her sleeve to help jasam neither alexis, sonny and Jason cannot even put a bullet in Peters head this isn't gh. Gh was killed a long time ago. Walk away jasam fans just walk away there is a lot of jasam moments out there to rewatch.
I know there are spoilers of Jason stealing time with Sam but after doing this... I want her to ghost him. If he wants to be apart he can be apart especially since while everyone is bashing Sam for not putting the kids first, Jason is the one putting Anna Devane first before his entire family because Peter's the reason why Jason can't be with Sam & the kids right now yet he isn't going after him for Anna.
If he kills Peter the cops will know its Jason.

This is why I haven't watched for months. The constant back and forth with them is stupid. The writers don't care what the fans want so what is the point. Used to love watching them back in the day and now I can't cause every week they break up. I loved this couple, but now I think I'm done. It makes me sad they r over, but it is clear it's what the writers want. Now it's just a matter of time before they get with other people. I guess Jason's line about never letting anything get between them wasn't true
I do feel bad for them with everything they've been through to be together. At this point though I really don't care anymore. They'd both be better off with other people. I'm in the minority but for the last year I think JaSam has been a snoozefest. Maybe it's Kelly Monaco's acting I'm not a big fan of. I used to think Sam was a really exciting character, now she just seems so dull.
Wrong. JaSam are soulmates. They belong together.
