love this mix, brings back so many happy memories of my clubbing days. Thank you for sharing! Even if I was nutted - I would still be listening out for the mix, there were a few clashes here and there from the big DJ's but that's what it's all about for me - the music. So don't worry one bit about being rusty on the decks - you did better that some of the DJ's back in the day 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Yes, the little Thrillseekers streak wasn't intentional, just the way the keys and flows took me. The only "must get in the set" was his remix of Need To Feel Loved - which is another of my all time favourites.

Yeah man nice set.. I have the same two RP7000 at home and I have after whenever I want.. I have myself Trance 90's especially German 96-99 .. Best times ever.. Keep pushing the vibes,you have a subscriber..
Yeah I'm fairly happy with them. Borrowed some 1210s and they're good but still think I prefer the Reloops after all.

Great to hear from you AJ. Yeah it kinda went that way didn't it. Farewell To The Moon is a recent addition to my collection and was keen to get it in, and as you saw, it kinda went from there. Been wanting to get Steve's remix of Reflect in for a while too, so pretty chuffed I managed it this time!
I see your mix with Matt dropped last week, hopefully will get that on tomorrow while working (providing calls don't get in the way like they did all last week!).

I just found you recently, I have to say man big admirer of your mixes and you seem like a really nice guy got a good vibe, I am also the same MOS trance nation 1 was the summer of 99' chilling in the garden when i lived in my home town back in the UK. Can't beat the original sound of trance at its finest then. I once made a music video for Above & Beyond.. and won it, but i've tried to play around with mixing i think ill stick to editing for now.. mixing takes alot of skill, one of my all time fav track i fall back to is Synaesthesia by The Thrillseekers. Greetings! They both have their issues to be honest but I think I just need to get used to the RP7000s…
I prefer the RP7000s but once I got used to the 120s they weren’t so bad. Main issue was that pitch runaway when trying to slow the record down. Not sure if it’s fixed with the 120x.

How are you finding the Reloop decks compared to the audio technica's?
They’re better, but still seem a bit weird. I’ve got yet another set of decks on loan from a friend which should be less weird so will be doing a comparison soon. Next mix will be on these too so there’ll be no excuses!
@@JonGTranceClassics We are very limited this side with deck options, I had my eye on the audio technica's but after seeing the issues you are having they are now off my list, have you tried the PLX-1000's it is like those then maybe some old mk2's or break the bank for the mk8's lol

Great mix set, love the transitions and music selection. The sound clarity is very good, much better than other DJ's out there. What are you using to record sound and video into the computer and put these mix sets together? Can you share the hardware you are using for this?

Got one of those in my birthday vinyl collection, so it’ll be in the next mix.
Finally got around to replying to this. I record the audio using a Behringer UCA-222 from the record output of my mixer into a the USB port of a Mac running Audacity. I don’t process the sound at all, just merge it with the video and that’s it.
I think the sound also has a lot to do with the A&H mixer, that warm sound is one of the main reasons I went for it. Matches trance music perfectly I think.

Too much Connected this time. Noticed that runaway issue, but is it speed steps that big or sync was done not accurate enough?
Yes that’s fair, there was a bit of a Thrillseekers streak which wasn’t intentional, just the way the keys and flow took me.
I’d have to say it’s a little from column A and a little from column B. Due to the steps I tend to go in without being perfectly synced, as even the slightest nudge can send it off the other way. They’re hard work for sure but I probably just need more practice on them, I’m used to my old cheapo ones which were way more granular on the pitch. 1210s in the future maybe…

One thing has stayed the same the past 25 years of my mixing techno and that is my dislike of Trance as well as they way it is mixed, HOWEVER you get all my respect for keeping it 100% on the analog platform tip. Analog mixing is the truth. You are NOT a true dj if you cant bang on vinyl. The craft has become all but lost. Keep banging OG
