  • Here's the 1st part of our recent tour to watch the famous Bol d'or race in France. Today we head from home, across the channel and on to Noyelles-Godault. As usual Liz's drift camera acts up! (yes we are getting rid of it for 2020). The temperatures range from 4'c to about 12'c when we get to France.
Thanks to Dan-o-songs, ben sounds and myself for the music used in our videos.

Another GL1500 saying G'day from Outback Aus. Nice to see Liz n Garry and can't wait to watch more. I ride an ol '88. Old age and health has me building a sidecar rig. Yes I never thought but it was that or sell my ol girl, so... You are inspiring us to hit the road. Jim n Karen. Kalgoorlie WA.

Nice video Liz and Garry, it was very special that everything in your B&B is named after Tommy, even the drinks and the shops.👍✌👌

Thanks Hedwig, Yes, I think it was fate? that there was a Tommy's Diner. We had to go and check it out.

I know what you mean about getting cold.
I went down to lands end in January on a Honda C125.
I find the cold is a war of attrition. You get cold riding. You get so uncomfy you have to stop. It takes say 20 mins for the hot drink or food to 'take', then you go back out.
I think after several cycles of warm and cold you end up cold in the middle of your body. It took an age in a boiling hot bath to warm back up after 7h in temps of as little as -2°c. Hands felt like plastic until the next day...
I am off to look at a GL1500 monday.
    Cheers for the video.

As always, great video thoroughly enjoyed it. Love the way Liz described how cold it was.....'very' cold if my memory serves me right! #rockontommy

Ha,ha, yes, Liz tells things as they are! I guess the only excuse is that she's from Barnsley. I was going to bleep all the expletives in our videos, but I haven't got that sort of time to spare!!

Thanks, Im still getting through yours and Michaels tour. Really enjoying them. Were you and Michael together in the services? or have I just dreamed that up in my mind??

@@MrBlazeyb no, I'm retired Air Force and he's active Navy at the moment. I got hired on with a contractor that's working on a Naval installation and that's where I met Michael. His Chief told him about me and we've been rolling ever since.

Thanks Viper6. That's twice we've been pulled for a customs check to get on the ferry. Although luckily we've never had to unpack, they've just taken our word that we have nothing to declare.
