Yes he plays more like Isaiah BUT in terms of his reputation and career, I think CP3 is the modern version of John Stockton. Yes, I know, CP3 is not a white boy. But think about it, 6'0", TOUGH, strong minded, team leader, high basketball IQ, incredible passer, almost automatic with the J, and still reliable and very productive even in the last phase of his NBA career. Stockton played till he was 40, 41, and he was still putting up SOLID starter numbers.

Have you ever watched John Stockton actually play? Like multiple full games? Idk how old you are but John Stockton wasn’t all that, stat sheet stuffer and ball hog. I know you might say, how can the leading assist guy be a ball hog? Well just look at the assist numbers for everyone else on his team, he wasn’t sharing the ball he was just passing to Karl Malone on the left block over and over again and occasionally had counter passes. He also couldn’t dribble with his left hand for real. Teams with a single player who averages 8-10+ assists don’t usually win championships, especially if the rest of their team is in the

Similar to OG Anonuby, who didn’t handle the ball much while Lowry was there in Toronto but now he looks like a completely different player. It’ll probably take CP leaving for him to unlock it but I don’t doubt it will happen, just too many hands to feed right now on that Phoenix team.
