BEST Lemon Loaf Cake | Starbucks Lemon Loaf | Easy Lemon Cake Recipe with Lemon Syrup and Glaze
| Ingredients (For a 8*4 or 9*5 inch Loaf Pan) |
Lemon Cake
[ ] Butter (Salted/Unsalted): 115 grams or ½ cup
[ ] Sugar: 200 grams or 1 cup
[ ] Eggs: 2
[ ] Lemon Zest (optional): 1 tsp
[ ] Vanilla Extract: 1 tsp
[ ] Lemon Juice: 45 grams or 3 tbsp
[ ] Yoghurt: 135 grams or ½ cup
[ ] Baking Powder: 8 grams or 1 ½ tsp
[ ] Flour: 190 grams or 1 ½ cup
Bake Loaf at 170°C for 55-60 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
Lemon Syrup
[ ] Sugar: 25 grams or 2 tbsp
[ ] Lemon Juice: 45 grams or 3 tbsp
[ ] Water: 30 grams or 2 tbsp
Bring all the ingredients to a boil (on medium high flame) and once sugar is dissolved, cook for an extra two minutes on medium heat and then take off the flame.
Lemon Glaze
[ ] Icing Sugar: 130-150 grams or 1 cup
[ ] Lemon Juice: 30 grams or 2 tbsp
