I bought this tuner with three custom tunes for my 04 Ford F350 6.0 from Blessed Performance . My truck is EGR deleted a S&B cold air intake with head studs. Didn't throw any codes and runs like a beast. This tuner is really nice other than takes forever to switch to different tunes.
No codes for egr? If so I’ll go get a tune pack also

My sct won’t find a connection. It just sits and searches for a connection. Can I update the unit itself.
Have you tried updating it with direct connection to a computer? I would suggest a update first and then try.
Great vid! I recently purchased an early '03 f-250 6l. Truck is in great shape with a four inch exhaust, block heater, and Sinister coolant filter system. I ordered the blue spring upgrade from your shop and a few filters, caps etc. Thanks for the quick service! My question is will this tuner work on an early model '03 6l? I read and heard conflicting info. I appreciate your input!

I got that turner and had a couple problems first the mag connector and got a new one then now i can even get tunes it just turns off 😑

I have an 06 250. The head studs have been replaced at the dealership. The only other modification is a straight flow stock diameter exhaust. I am the original owner and it has 123,000 miles on it. I am curious about upgrades that will increase overall performance, longevity, and would love better fuel mileage. What do you suggest?
How do I download a custom tune?
Once you have your tunes they are pretty much drag and drop to the SCT app.
I've only seen one comment on here that asked if this will work with an EGR deleted truck . I have an 04 that's studded an EGR deleted , will the canned tunes work on this truck . SCT an dealers say no , but customers that have bought it said yes. So who's correct ?

This really is a stock truck and this tuner can be used without any modifications to your truck. We always suggest when you have a tuner to at least have an intake and exhaust to be able to have the best return on your tuner investment.
Mine won't load...nothing but problems with this tuner....says "connecting" when I attach it to the mount but it just continues to say connecting and doesn't load...
Can you turn the egr off with this? To get rid of the check engine light after delete?
No, this product does not affect any emissions systems.
How does this compare to cts2 pro? Looking at getting something just hard to make a decision

Both good tuners. If you are looking to do your custom tuning with HP Tuners, then you will have to use the Edge. I say that because you had mentioned the Pro. If you aren’t looking for custom tuning, both tuners will work fine. We love the screen on the SCT GTX!

Which is better the SCT X4 or this BDX? I bought this truck and the guy before me out bigger injectors in it but kept the tuner when he traded it in 🤦. It's smoking pretty bad so I'm starting with the tuner and fuel regulator and fuel filter before diving into more expensive parts
You cannot make custom adjustments like with the “canned” tunes, or the tunes that come with the tuners. You can always get custom tunes from other tuners as well. Now as far as the devices are concerned, the BDX and X4 come with the same tunes, however, the BDX has a few more capabilities for updating that the X4 does not.

How safe are the tow tunes..and how do you know which to use.
Tow tunes are usually labeled “Tow” and have a certain weight restriction. It’s always a good idea to monitor EGT’s when towing, so might consider adding a pyrometer to your truck and then monitoring your EGT’s and using the correct tunes that correspond to that.

Is the truck your using egr deleted. My truck is egr deleted but I keep getting told it won’t work on my truck because of that but I wanna know if it’ll work I’m not worried about a code or nothing just wanna make sure I don’t waste my money.
its one of the very few that work on deleted trucks. i have a 09 deleted 6.4 that i just put this tuner on, and i absolutely love it
I just updated my SCT-X4 April 21, 2021 and now showing 2 codes with engine light on. SCT will do nothing to fix because of Pollution control regulations.
Would you say this is better than an edge cts2 for monitoring because I want a tune and a monitor aswell? Also can you track egts with this?
They are both good products. The GTX is a very state of the art monitor and larger in size. If you have a Ford vehicle, I think you will really like SCT’s tuning as well.

Did performance waste more fuel? And how did the tuning trans do?
We actually gained a couple miles to the gallon with the SCT tuning on the 6.0. Trans tuning was really nice, it would be nice for a little more adjustability with the trans tuning but it was a big gain from stock.
I got 6.0 that the previous kid put it a little bit bigger injectors (175) in it anybody think I should get a custom tune or a would just put in a street tune be good?? Thanks.. subscribed long ago :)
No. You need custom tunes for bigger than stock injectors

Repackaged X4 with WIFI...not that this is a bad thing...with an actual readable screen.
This is more of an upgrade to the Livewire than the x4

Why don’t you do installation for the general public? It’s seems you guys are missing out on a lot of revenue by not selling parts and installations. If you’re worried about liability just have guys sign an off road use only agreement on the parts that are off road only.
