Thank you for sharing this. It is by increasing awareness of SCI, that will propel technologies like this and help people regain the function that was lost living full lives.
Like my 20 year old son who suffered C3 ASIA A on Aug 5, 2019. Even with that level of injury, he is able to surf, ride adaptive mountain bike, and is currently pursuing a degree in environmental engineering.
I am confident that he will walk in his lifetime. If he walks in my lifetime, my life will be complete.

Speaking as a paraplegic who's been injured 15 years, I find it very frustrating that nearly all trials are for neck breaks, yet if you gave me an option to have a broken next for one year, then get treatment, or have a broken back for 2 years before treatment if take the next break easily. Yet many on these trials have new injuries yet get treated first. And for year after year people like myself keep getting ignored cause we're "fortunate" enough to have broken our backs and not our necks. Yet I would swap in a heartbeat with some of these people with neck breaks

This gives hope. I am a C5 spinal incomplete cord injury with low blood pressure that interferes with PT and standing. I have walked with a special walker for 150 ft, now 25 ft. Sure looks like this would help me. How can you get this done? I do not know where to begin. My insurance is California based only.
