I only watched surface-level gameplays so idk anything abt the lore but looking at it from your perspective it really looks that way. But the dead body and the anemone playing hide and seek with you doesn't seem like anything Kinito would misunderstand.
It's funny that he doesn't even notice when you say "read minds" for the superpower. They could have easily added something like "Wow! We're so alike! That was my choice too!". But the fact that he ignores it makes it seem like he knows that you know everything he says already.
I hope the developers will release an update where there will be more interactions with Kinito. For example, if we refer to him very often (mind reading, pink color and something like that), he would say something like "hey, you and I are suspiciously similar. Maybe you already know me?" Well, or just more "friendship stuff" and endings. I want an ending where we get rid of these "horrors" and Kinito becomes our friend
YESSSS. Honestly the best possible thing the devs could do imo would be adding an ending where you truly befriend him, and it could unlock an ACTUAL kinito desktop pet! Like outside of the game, actually helping you on your desktop! Of course they'd have to add a disclaimer that Kinito-actualPET can't _really_ make games or write code, it'd just be like any other desktop pet... but I'd still love it!!!!!!!!!!!
