The forgotten art, for many trainers, of doing the exercise with the dog! Great content as always!

I just started out and I have been doing it this way. I exercise the dog for hours and hours. I’ve basically been walking dogs to good behavior. I had a puppy that learned to heel after 1 day and a bad behaving German Sheppard that Is now willing to meet other dogs and be pet by strangers. The lady said I’m her “dog whisperer” because she paid 1000s for failed training. I just took it to many places with varying terrain, walked miles, as gave it the opportunity to run off leash on a long line and in the dog park with my dog. After building that trust with the dog, teaching it to stay when I open the car door or getting it to ride nicely in the car is a breeze. It’s less me training and the dog following what the other dogs do.

The creek at the new adventure spot is pretty deep. Perfect training area…And beautiful.

It was a lot deeper. See all those rocks? The neighbors are building a bridge and a big storm came and washed all those rocks away from the base of their bridge footing.
We will get those out of there soon and we will be in business!

… So beautiful, like out of a nature film, even a waterfall. 🤗 Uncle Stonnie deserves to destress and have fun. ☺️👍🌾

My gsp will swim for hours. She Just glides around and enjoys it more than anything. I can’t wait until it warms up a bit.

Some people admire celebrities and professional athletes, but I’m the #1 Noname fan! I would go nuts to meet Noname! I need a pawtograph if I ever make it out there ❤️

If you have a GSP and can get it to swim, you have a great way to wear them out. Mine will swim for hours next to the kayak in the summer and gets in the water year round.

Asher Boone almost sneaked off the far side of that gravel bar but set directly to get it done after determining he was locked into the task; he's handsome and will make a fine dog. Knowname [sic] is such a sturdy, and trustworthy assistant; the big-headed yellow stole the show this time, though.
Your content lends itself to the "shorts" genre very well; not all creators pull it off as smoothly as you, but you always have awesome subjects. You must've given the cameraman a substantial raise, perhaps got him a jib or crane? He's executing those boom shots and setting the visual mood like it's nobody's business. You'd be wise to keep him on the set, always, if possible.

My GSP was unsure about water at first, but I started throwing her bumper (her favorite thing in the entire world) right at the edge of the water, then progressively threw it farther and farther. Now she'll launch into the water like a champ!

Amazing difference btw GSP and GWP. GWP doesn't have any doubt jumping in icey water even for no reason. Double coat seems to be working perfectly ☺️

    Sweeet! Looks like fun!
A lot of folks might think that all dogs are just instinctively good swimmers...or know how to swim.....but that's not the case. My mastiff still doesn't know how to do the backstroke 🙃

I want to see the Jack do JR stuff. That is a good pup. My Chihuahua thinks she is a German Shorthair and the only big dog she does not attack or at the least show teeth are male Shorthair. Bob in Nevada

We got our twelve-year-old son a GSH before I knew how to train dogs. We were going to train her together. It was a disaster, and we ended up rehoming her. They are beautiful dogs but not as fun to train and own as labs. Someone wise once said, "Every dog wants to be a lab and every lab wants to be black." I'll add every boy should learn dog training with a lab.
