Excited for the 997's, those vachetta leather v4's, and the sea salt/grey v6's. like the darker 993's but they've been going ham on those for awhile, have to fall back somewhere lol after the JFG v6's and the concepts 1906's gotta slow up on the retail; also think everyone is patiently waiting for the 992's for the next drop 🫡
Everyone is for sure just sitting and waiting for the 992s! I feel 2025 will be the year for the 992. I know that JFG has a 992 coming out in 2025, going to be very exciting 🫡
The whole deal with the purple / orange on the 993s seems to be a nod to Nike's ACG aesthetic which in turn automatically connects to fall / winter vibes
Someone said underwhelming as far as colors goes from NB... Umm NB at one point was more muted in colorway offerings traditionally. Grey, navy, tans, white, black, olive... Stuff the other companies didn't do until the earth tone thing happened over a decade ago.
I’ll consider all 3 993s if I see them for 25% or more off. Nothing really jumps out at me as a must cop at full retail like the chives from last season. Good video ✌️

I've had a pair of the grey 997H & they feel real good on feet.. has the same feel like my 327's... but that's not exactly the 997 like the ones in this video, the H model of the 997 has a different midsole... still a great shoe... I wore my NB M1500CBK yesterday and got quite a few compliments on them... NB 4 Lyfe
I’m honestly okay with season 6 being meh. My wallet is still recovering from season 5. Some of the worthy pick ups for me this year are. *1906 Baklava Azuls *993 Chive *990V4 Arctic Grey *2002R JJJound both color ways *9060 Bodegas *990V6 Triple Black

That’s said, you might keep an eye on StockX as I’ve occasionally seen certain sizes below retail. Think it might be early signs of a pull back in the economy as several shoes I’ve never seen below retail suddenly went down this year.
Agreed not too exciting at all.. my favorite out of the bunch is the dark grey 990v6.. but I can live without it and use the regular good old GR grey 990v6. The rest are just bleh tbh! That’s a good thing though.. don’t have to spend on new NBs lol… might just save up for the Lapis Lazuli lol
I agree, the dark grey v6 is nice but like you said the regular grey v6 will do just find and save the money. Saving up and getting the lapis lazuli is a great idea, Top 2 sneaker of all time in my opionion
Kinda boring, this season 6. My local Marshalls still has the 990v6 burgundy (the one you mentioned) sitting at $100 Canadian, no takers so I’m assuming we’ll see those at that store in maybe 6-9 months. 😅 No yellow 992s?
It's crazy that people are finding 990s at Marshalls! I need to go check mine out. The 992s look like they will come out early 2025 or late 2024. I cannot wait for them!
the 997 is nowhere near a 990v4 or v6 comfort level. the 997 is a shoe that takes time to break in so the more you wear it, the more comfy it gets. the 997S MiUSA is out of the box comfy.

I really like the white 990v6. Grey 993 and bone 990v4 are fine too . If I can get at discount, I guess I will buy one of these 3 pairs
A lot of Teddy Santis sneakers go on sale so it should be no problem to get all of those at a discounted price

There are speculations that the V4 is made with Vachetta leather. If that's the case it'll be interesting to see how the patina looks as it ages!
That would be really intresting to see that on a new balance. When I get a pair I will wear test them to see how the leather looks over time!

New Balance has fizzled out. Now it's Asics taking the mantle.
Asics is for sure making it to the top but in my opinion New Balance is still on top
