MY moto e5 play goes to the home screen, ( the blue Motorola logo) then turns on and off. I've removed the battery and tried so many things! I need help! But, it only does it while plugged in. when I unplug it, it will turn off and act dead. HELP!
it is something related to the screen issue. I've got a cracked glass digitizer E6 works fine. I've found a similar one with a good screen but Motorola logo starts up and keep resetting every 3 sec. I've replaced both logic boards and it does the same! Just unbelievable. The only way to think it is directly relate to the screen, perhaps the screen ribbon cable issue
@@kingzingo1784 I've tested it yesterday since I've got few E6 parts to replace. It is the screen. For some reasons the screen is faulty. Neither the logic boards nor the ribbon cables. The screen has never been damaged though.

I followed the steps, phone turned off and back on, let go of the power, held the volume up, nothing :( I also don't have any splash screen happening like you do in your video, so do I have a different problem? Thank you in advance!
Hi I have Moto X4. I was using the phone in hotspot for all my internet usage during lockdown times. Suddenly the phone switched off while video calling was going on... and phone seemed much overheated. Since then I can't open any videos or videocalling on phone while phone was on battery but while on charge it worked. And now few days ago it abruptly switches off and have to put it on charge to switch it on.... I have even done factory reset two - three times within a span of two to three months. How to rectify the issue. Phone is currently on factory reset mode, I'm not using it.

This works on other Motorola phones too! I have a 2021 Moto G Power and this got me back in. I thought I was going to have to wait till the battery ran out to restart
@@geabool4978 It's a dead battery. I bought a replacement battery off ebay and put it in and it works like normal now. No need to reset phone! There are vids on YT about how to remove covers etc. and replace battery. e.g: this one (though it seems there are slightly different interior designs for the phone) czcams.com/video/2gC0gnHTsOM/video.html ..I used a hairdryer - see my comment on this video and get in touch if you need any help/tips - I just did mine a few weeks ago :)
When I hold volume up, a message pops up at the bottom saying "meta mode", and nothing happens, it doesn´t even reboot lol. It is curious that it turns on when it is charging at 0%, do you know something about it(including meta mode?)? It's on right now, I think I will unlock the bootloader

Hey I have moto z3 stuck in boot loop it gets passed the M screen after some trouble and makes it to screen that says Verizon on it with the different color dots under it show loading but then instead of phone kicking on it goes back to the first boot screen again with the M and repeats cycle and pushing power plus volume up does nothing, it doesn't even shut off and back on again only volume down works but brings me to the screen with little robot down with chest plate open with options like start restart bootloader qcom barcode etc what can I do
