Happy Flower please don’t it’s not gonna go amazing! If you are planning to have the head forever, take my word for it, it won’t last. It’s pretty easy to hand sew and more fun
I think go to use the machine, because i'm bad doing the *nudo*
This looks hard but it’s just time consuming and you need a huge amount of patience for this

@@BlueError404 Same here, I will be 13 in 10 days. What I was thinking is to get a head base, and then put straps in it to hold it up on your head. Then when you grow into it, you can take the straps out! =3
@@BlueError404 there is no age for building a fursuit, commissioning yes, but making one no, I'm 14, Already have 2 fursuits, all I can say is its frustrating in the making but in the end it was worth the struggle

@@BlueError404 well, just so you know you need to wait till you are at least 13-15 years old because that's when you almost completly stop growing. If you're young (like 10 or so) when you make a fursuit head, then you'll outgrow it within a year or so.

I think I would recommend using numbers for making the fur designs. :3 arrows are also good so you can remember which way the fur goes

You can use code numbers! Like the nose is 21, the back is 89, and inside the ear is 90.

It has never happened to me
I've cut into the foam when using exacto to cut off the pattern. It doesn't really affect anything if you do, I mean unless you're leaving big ass gouges or something.
If you tape onto suranrap like she did then you should be fine.
Pix The Cat place plastic wrap under the tape, only tape half, basically copy the video. Make sure to cut 2 and to cut slowly in small chunks, if you want longer fur.
I use duck tape to secure the head so I can wash it, I use masking tape for the pattern. It's just my way (;

Hi, I know this was like a year ago but I’m wondering when your furring round parts of the head you add the triangle cut things, correct?
If so does it matter where you put the cuts or..?
Late response to your comment but the person does not cut triangles out, they simply cut lines in the pattern so it lays flat. When taking the tape off it's often still the same shape as the head but the patterns need to be flat so that's why they do that.

Do you have to put cling wrap on the head before the duct tape, or can you just put the duct tape right onto the foam?
The duct tape tape will be very hard to cut and get off if you don't use plastic wrap

How do you know how to cut the tape when it‘s on the head? And which stitch do you use to sew all together?
I just draw on the tape before cutting it. And I don't know what the stitch is called but it almost looks like the blanket stitch
