My partner and I eloped just the 2 of us and then hit them with the “I’M PREGNANT” when folks got all panty-bunched about not getting to go to wedding. Best distraction that saved us having to plan a wedding at all.
10/10 would recommend this strat in the future. Only downside is I’m now responsible for an entire human being for the rest of my life and I peed when I laughed for like a year.
