We are a young Australian couple raising our six beautiful children aged 9, 8, 7, 6, 6, 6! That's right.. with the surprise addition of our sweet baby triplets, we had six children in three years!
We are now happy to announce the twins arrival five years later after the triplets in October 2020!
Life can be pretty hectic sometimes, but it's also A LOT of fun!

Instead of an aisle of shelves could you add a counter height bench in the middle? That way you’d have lots of extra storage underneath, could use the surface to package things up, and it would still seem nice and open as nothing would be added at eye level
or a bunch of those ikea wheelie shelf things. idk what to call it haha
A tall table on wheels- could be roll away shelving but also a work space to pack on
That was exactly my thought! It would look more intentional and less crowded for sure. What an awesome toy store-so impressive!

This is my dream business! I wish you would include more of it in your vlogs. It’s cool to see and you shouldn’t feel bad for marketing yourself more often!
You are great candidates for running a toy store because you have lots of kids and have experience with things that kids actually like, and that have amazing play value
An extra isle in that corner would be nice if it had a table on top of it, so you could wrap and organize all the products and boxes.

I second the advice of the other comments and suggest you could build a little "packing island" table in the middle. It would free some shelf space from the packing materials and you could have a space to set out and pack the orders!
Such an interesting video, seeing how you run your business. As a former Preschool teacher in the US, I can honestly say that I love all of your products. Ever time you've shown your kids' playroom, I've imagined having these wonderful toys in my former classroom. I too love the Usborne books...they are wonderful! 💖
You stick the nicest items. I was wondering if the middle could be a large counter top for packing your orders and stocking boxes, tape, files and still addition stock and then that could open up room on your stick shelves. And IKEA drawer for files, take scissors or even smaller stock items. Only a suggestions because what I see you doing is already soooo impressive.
I am a senior and wish I had young grandchildren that I could spoil with your beautiful and educational products. Love the Beans!

Congratulations for your successful little business. Running it while simultaneously taking care of 8 - soon 9 - children sounds incredible to me. I'm french, and I noticed that a large part of your products are from french brands (Djeco, Janod) ; I was surprised. (I love these brands too, by the way.)
It's actually nice to hear that YOU both enjoy the toys as much as the kids. Can just tell how much time you invest into spending quality moments with your kids.

Wow that's awesome I don't have any little one's anymore so never thought about going to your shop. I'm glad you got a house that allows you to stay home and run your business. You are very brave raising that many children and run your business 👏 🙌. I would of loved to run a business but with being a single Mom raising just 3 daughters I couldn't make it work with insurance and losing money the first few years possibly. I just love your family. You show us a glimpse of your lives and we can't wait for the next video.

My online store takes up 3 rooms in my house, it is amazing how it spreads. Yours looks beautiful, so much fun selling lovely quality items.
what kind of online store do you have willowgirl?....where do you guys buy the items you are selling in your online stores?
You can place a low counter/table like a cooking island with storage space under the counter, like a working table.
I like that they really colourful but muted and not just a big load of garish pink and blue plastic.
As youre raving about the Usborne books i am thinking....huh that looks alot like one of my sons favourite books.......and it is an Usborne! Now i know what to get more of! Thanks!

My very first purchase was the replay dinner eare I use it every day with my care children. You shipped those to new Zealand.
Replay does have the best dishes. We have several sets for the munchkin and have even discussed getting the bigger plates for the grownups! I want to get some of their toys as well.
I'm gonna order something(s) one day! Lol

My idea is it would be great storage if you guys put in some kind of low line storage/workbench I’m the centre of the room.
That way there is more storage, a work bench you wrap orders or extra storage on top, can still move around the room and can still have great energy flow, air and light.

Just something i saw the other day that if you use those packing bags and dont stick it down as close to the opening as you can people can get their hands in and take stuff without opening the bags. Worth sealing it then if need to put a sticker or tape to make the package smaller

@@lifewithbeans If you want a name for your baby you could call her Genevieve if it is a girl because it is a beautiful name or Christian if it is a boy and your baby may like one of those names how they are or so that your baby might make it shorter if it wanted to and it has great meanings and it is a nice long name for your baby to have and would be great to have good pronunciation skills and your baby would have more letters to write that gets more fun. What do you think.

How do you organize your stockroom, in the sense that, how does the computer know when something is sold out, or a specific color is sold out? Do you input how much of each items/colors you have at the same time as you place the order to restock? Do you restock only when you sell out or before then or does it depend? Do you work directly with the companies to buy in bulk or do you just make super large orders from them (I can’t imagine it’s the latter lol)
Is it hard to keep the kids out of your storage area? I bet it would be hard to have all those toys and not want to play with them especially if they don’t already have the toy. Hope you get lots of orders this holiday season!
Love your set up; and I love shopping at your store... My little one still loves her broccoli overalls. How do you find running your business out of a rental property? Are there any like stipulations etc. from the local rental authority at all? I am wanting to set up my own online small business for handmade clothes and gifts; but seem to be running into red tape as we are in a rental.
