rcEvoLogic High Tower Front Shock Tower (G5) for Tamiya Vanquish/VQS

- In this video I talk about the new "High Tower" front shock tower for the Tamiya Vanquish and VQS from rcEvoLogic. This tower is designed to help stop the front of the buggy bottoming out on the shocks and help give full suspension travel to the front end. In my experience the front of the VQS tends to bounce after a jump due to the shocks bottoming out. This shock tower should help eliminate that problem. Enjoy!

I know I said this before when u built this VQS,but I'm going to say it again, that thing is by far the best looking VQS I've ever seen,it's a total work of art 👏
Thanks Carl! It's always great to hear feedback like this. 👍
Very nice parts indeed! That VQS looks stunning with the upgrades.👍😍
They are really nice parts. Thanks mate! 👍
Thanks Mick for the great video!! Its a worthy upgrade, totally changes the dynamics of the front end. Also the sway bar gets engaged more in tight or high speed turns. And lets be honest it looks way more aggresive with strength and aesthetics to match!!
cheers from Team rcEvoLogic
No probs at all mate. Excellent upgrade! 🙂👍
Those upgrades look the absolute business Mick 😎. The whole car is gorgeous!
They do mate, really nice looking parts. Thanks Owen! 👍
Looks real nice this buggy!! Shocks probably smoother more upright.
Thanks Steve! Yeah I think they will be a little more responsive. 👍
Great looking buggy Mick be great see it running with the upgrades 🏅🚴🤩👍
Thanks Pete! I will get it out for a run at some stage. I doubt it will be for a couple of week though as it's raining most days here right now. 👍
It looks really cool and it is nice the full shock travel can be used now! It is nice to have both nice looking but also very functional parts available.
Thanks Addam! Oh yeah, I'm sure it will land quite nicely after jumps now. rcEvoLogic has plans to make loads more parts to help address the weaknesses in a lot of Tamiya buggies. Should be great for out buggies, we can bash em harder! 😁👍
Thanks Addam. That was our aim to unleash the full potential of the VQS! cheers from rcEvoLogic
Hi there Mick, oh man, you’re certainly out seeking the perfection on that VQS Vanquish. Take care and best wishes to you and the family 😉😊😁
G'day John. I think it might get pretty close with these rcEvoLogic parts. It will certainly handle differently with the new high front shock tower. Hoping it stops raining so I can get it out for a run. Thanks mate, all the best to you and your family too! 🙂👍
I was going to put some sort of joke about those parts not rusting in peace, but I think I already did that one plenty... But when you held up that part in front of you, it matched the Megadeth logo so well it looked like it belonged in there! You should do a metal band tribute RC car someday, I know I will, someday, ha ha...
On a more serious note, awesome seeing these aftermarket parts from small manufacturers, one of the best parts of this hobby!
Have a great weekend there, mate!
Thanks mate. We live for the passion and just enjoy seeing other RC guys going harder with their buggies. cheers from Team rcEvoLogic
Lol plus being alloy they shouldn't rust but Corrode In Peace just doesn't sound right 😂. Haha yes! I did notice that too, it does match.
You know, I have been thinking that exact same thing. Naturally my first thought was a Slayer buggy or even a Lunch Box. The only reason I've not done it yet is I'd need to seriously work on my airbrushing skills... or at least develop some skills 😂. But YES, a metal themed car or too will happen!
Oh it's just awesome to have people like rcEvoLogic working on parts for the hobby and even better that he's based in Australia. I hope his business really takes off as it's one step to bringing manufacturing back to Australia.
Hope you have a great weekend too mate! 👍
Good to see ya back on the tube Mick, it has to be said your VQS is definitely one of the best l have seen! Tower adds to the deal mate😉👍
I'm kind of in and out here now days lol. Thanks mate! 🙂👍
@@RCHobbyShed Yeah keep it balanced mate make sure you enjoy the hobby first before all the other CZcams stuff gets in the way😉
Agree with you there, beautiful VQS Mick!
@@mad-beerc3818 Exactly mate! I'm back working again so as far as the channel goes I think I will focus more on what I WANT to do on it rather than what I think I SHOULD be doing on it. 👍
@@RCHobbyShed 😉👍
Very cool. VQS for the win.🏁
Thanks Luke! 🙂👍
G'day Mick! 😀, Nice to see another one of your video's mate👍.
That buggy looks way too nice to use, new suspension mod is way better for sure. Nice work Evo Logic👌and thanks for sharing your video Mick👍🦘🇦🇺
G'day mate! Haha, the videos are coming a bit slow now but I'm still here 😁
I'm a little scared to run it mainly because of the wheels, don't want to scratch them. I will get it out for a run though, probably on a footy oval. I'll set up some jumps though so we can see how the new tower works. Thanks mate! 👍
Thanks mate. A lot of trial and error goes into making these parts. In the end its most rewarding to see owners going harder with their buggies. cheers from Team rcEvoLogic
Excellent video!
Awesome high mount info .
nice shock towers and information
Thanks Duke! 👍
You old metal head, looks awesome buddy
Haha I am, might even have metal playing at my funeral 😂. Thanks Darren! 👍
Nice mod Mick 👌. Hope you're doing well.
Thanks Jon! All good here mate, hope you are doing well too. 🙂👍
Looks like a very nice upgrade. Will you do another running video to see if it improves performance? Or is the VQS a shelf queen now since it has all those beautiful parts on it?
They do look great and much stronger than standard. I will do a running video at some point when the rain eases. Probably not at the same location though, maybe on a grass oval but set up some jumps. Don't want to scratch up those Pargu wheels in the gravel. 😁👍
Car looks a million bux Mick! HIgh detail, tastefully modded!
Thanks mate! 👍
I want a CNC milling machine so I can make these nice parts myself 😂
Haha, I hear ya! That would be awesome. 😂👍
Car looks great Mick! Are you interested in selling the low tower? rcEvoLogic have stopped selling them unfortunately 😞
