This is definitely a, Awsome video 1979 Kenworth Kw100 cause I was seven years old when that Kenworth Kw100 came out of the Truck factory.
thanks for the ride along awsome truck awsome music kenworth the worlds best trucks
This was freedom!!!
Worked your ass off running hard and fast but had a big smile at the end of the day!
Every old school driver out pounding the pavement keep on
Nice to see old iron !! I got out of the army in 82 i bought a 79 just like yours it had the 110 cab and had a silver 475 detroit in her ,i put 850000 on her. I miss the old days of trucking were cabovers ruled !
In 1979 I drove a '78 K100 w/a 430 Detroit, 13 O/D, & 3.70 Rears. It got the job done !!! I was leased to "Refrigerated Transport" (Atlanta, Ga.) & ran Long-Haul OTR. (A LOT of 'Swingin' Meat) - "Those were the days my friend, I thought would never end" :-( Thanks for the video
Finally a video without aggravating music.
Nice to see a driver who hasn’t butchered the old road ranger 13 speed shift knob with something else. Nice truck driver
I think in my past life I was trucker, I so love "classic" trucking, and country music
one Badass kenworth
Exactly like i like them, vit (not aerodyne), no extra lights, original bumper, original sun visor, model year before the rectangular headlights, just a beautiful k100 truck. Very nice video. B.T.W. i work for paccar ste-thérèse in québec canada, i build them!!
When I got started on tractor trailer driving the man I worked for had a k 100 just like that only it was a single bunk but same color and design had a 3408 cat 13 sp what a sweet tk
Great song and a great truck I remember back in the day seeing these cab over running down the road gotta love old lron
First semi truck was an 84 K100 with a 400 Cummins and a 13 speed. The truck that made me fall in love with trucking was a K100E with a Silver 8V92 and an Allison auto. That thing was soooooooo beautiful. If I never saw that cabover, I would have gone white collar with my profession😊
Omg bring back so many memories thank u love it
Reminds me of the days riding on the doghouse in my grandpa's k100 112" bbc. With a 400 BC2
This is the Absolute epitome of the 70's ! K100 Kenworth rolling down the highway and Running On Empty on the radio. Life didn't get much better than that.
Awesome job on the video too.
Love them old trucks. I had a 79 International with a 13speed. Glad I'm not an owner operator anymore but sure do miss it sometimes. Keep the shiny side up and the greasy side down, keep her between the ditches and we'll catch ya on the ole flip flop 10-4 this is Doc and I'm 10-10 on the side. Then we're the days
God i miss that so much.
She’s beautiful driver.
Great truck video...nothing & I MEAN NOTHING LIKE A KW K100 C/O!!!
Excellent song choice. I've been a truck driver for close to 30 yrs now. I've wanted to drive since the 1st time my Uncle Don took me on a trip in 1977 when we lived in Dothan Alabama & I was 8 yrs old.
In 1991, when I turned 21 I hit the road before CDL's were instated.
I'm 50 now...AND STILL LOVE IT!!!
GOD BLESS AMERICA
GOD BLESS THE AMERICAN TRUCKERS
GOD BLESS THE AMERICAN TRUCKING FAMILY...
BUT MOST OF ALL...
GOD BLESS THE AMERICAN TRUCKING WIFE!!!!!
Much love from Mobile Alabama
Big Time on the CB
10/4 good buddy 10/4
Video was great made my day. Beautiful KW. Those days were the best.
My dad drove Peterbuilts and later Freightliners when he had his own trucking business for a while, but I always loved those K100's. Wanted to be a trucker for the longest time, till I got my license and realized I hate driving, lol...
That takes me back
Now that is some cabover action! I think I’ve seen your truck at a truck show in the Columbus, Ohio area...maybe. Love the truck....and hauling grain! Glad to see it’s still in use. Keep it a rolling! I’m getting my 95 IH 9670 (Walmart) truck ready to haul grain next year.
He runs out of the Toledo area so I doubt it was him.
@@deborahchesser7375 🇺🇸 You never know. It is a very nice rig! 🤩 I’m glad Toledo gets blessed!
Had a K100 years ago with a Cumalong NT in it hauling steel fabrications in Salt Lake. I replaced the silly alloy bumper with a ¾" 'C' section steel beam because front axle was never overweight anyway. Result was SO much smoother, quieter, less rattly and just nicer to drive. It also had air assist power steering that one flicked on only when manoeuvring. It was great.
Well Thx to All i really appreciate your can fair & comments God Bless to you & yours. Matt K , Pistachio on the CB
Matt Krumel I think I saw your truck before. I live in Perrysburg and drive truck aswell. Would love to be able to get pictures of your K100 sometime.
il be at some of the summer car shows downtown PBurg.on friday eves. im on FB
Great preserved gem. Love the video. I grew up in the cabover days with my dad. It was awesome. I couldn't wait to get my hands on the wheel. By the time I got to license conventional was in. I've driven several conventionals. Still can't wait to drive one.
Man that takes me back! Drove one of these in the early '80's out of Savannah GA. Great video
Thank you so much for such a rarity, l am Russian myself, but the Americans are great, a love you 😍
Wow Thanks Man! We Love You too❤️🙌🇺🇸
Great video...well worth watching, if you are a truck fan

Great video...nice to see an old KW still in service.
Definitely reminds me of bj and the bear.....that big bad kdub...im pretty sure I'll be watching this again and again and oh yeah again. I have always been big big fan of cabovers...growing up I would sleep over at my cousins just so I could have him ask his Dad if we could go for a ride in the truck ( international transtar coe) lol. Those were definitely the GOOD OLE DAYS
Nice video

The K100 series of cabovers: the best one ever made.😎
Matt, I have seen this truck and wondered who owned it. I grew up in Perrysburg and still live in the area. Your truck is a beauty!! Thanks for the video!!

I love the k100!!! great video!
One of the best ever up loads I've seen,
Thanks so much.
Awesome Video, very well done.
Beautiful... good job on the video.
I've always had a soft spot for those K100's and this one is a nice looking truck, and a great video, but I have to say, judging by how much you have to steer it, as seen at about the 1:00 mark in the vid, it looks like it likes to wonder around on the road a little. Still a great truck though.
Can we see more cabover please???
loved it !!
Epic!thanks for share it!
Same song just more video lolol....GREAT VIDEO!!!
