  • In 1987 Gerard Mulligan succeeded Paul Andor in the role as hapless staffer that Dave would fire. There were six dismissals:
    1. February 19, 1987 - fired for hair
    2. February 26, 1987 - fired for changing opening segment
    3. April 9, 1987 - fired for tightening phone mouthpiece
    4. April 30, 1987 - fired for cutting hair
    5. May 21, 1987 - fired for bringing show to Las Vegas
    6. November 13, 1987 - fired for moving back and forth

P.S. I just spotted the thumbnail for a video you posted titled, "Brother Theodore Complete 1982-1989"; and I am going to round up the pizza, popcorn, and beer hoping that I will sweat even more like a chunk of rancid pork upon, during, and after viewing.
