I bought a big old house that had been nine apartments, and after i painted the wall beadboard and mouldings in several of the original colors, i put back up the nine rusty mailboxes and added beautiful artificial flowers in each one. I'll add a couple small feathered birds and butterflies too.
I so enjoy watching you again---you were one of the first YT crafters I subscribed to & when I figured out how to make playlists, I put every one of your garden fence videos into a faux wrought iron playlist. I swear that one of these days I'm going to use one of your videos to make a faux wrought iron grate on my front door w/ mirror behind it so it looks like a window. I loved how creative you have always been. I haven't watched much lately b/c you are mostly doing $Tree shopping & my $Tree doesn't always have that stuff. But obviously you're doing well with your subscribers w/ that content. I enjoyed your garden videos too, wish you would do more. Thanks, I've enjoyed watching this creative DIY!

Wonderful ideas for tin cans. I would have never thought there were so many possibilities for tin cans. My favorite is the fence post diy. Great use of craft sticks too.
I fully agree with you on the kids stuff! 7 kids and 24 grandchildren and barely a toy in sight! The few that we do have are easily kept as they all have been taught " if your old enough to get it off the shelf, your old enough to put it back" Many a toy that was left tossed about went into a donation bin i keep in laundry room. Yes i have the kids actually go to donation center where the kiddos who would love those toys will get them. We always do this in the fall before holidays as well. What they dont use and is in good condition (clothes,toys,books) get donated as they surely will be replenished over the holidays with their current needs and wants. Many good lessons to be learned in those simple actions. Lovely ideas you have! Keep up the excellent work! Wonderful!

Hi Dee! All of the crafty ideas using the empty cans are just wonderful. I love all of them, but know I don't have the space for all of them. The one that really stood out to me was the staggered fence. Yours looked just like the inspiration one without the price tag. At first I thought the price was 14.99, I had to look again and saw the 149.00. Anytime an item can be made for a fraction of the cost of buying it that's a win win in my mind. Sanding the can where needed before applying acrylic paint would ensure better adhesion to begin with. Short and sweet.

Chapter 3, folding down the wall paper over the top also helps prevent accidental cuts or nicks on your fingertips. 😊
One of the best things I ever purchased for my kitchen was a safety can opener. Removes the lids without any sharp edges on the can or lid.
Oh my gosh the cans with the acorn knobs are ADORABLE & my favorite of all, but I also love the wooden fence with the “rusty” cans!! ❤❤
