SVG brings a new and novel perspective to NASCAR, the same kind of novelty of a visitor to your own country. Seeing NASCAR through new eyes is sooo interesting. A lot of talk about racing technique and not merely bombast about self and ego. Very positive for the sport.

I'm curious if Van Gesbergen is the new personality NASCAR needs. He's really humble, really a great racecar driver. I'm still routing for the 9 team on Sundays but he's my second best if chase ever gets wrecked. Lol
Shane and Kyle are going to ellevate each other. It's happened before with Shane, he just seems to rise to the level with those around him. Hopefully his season in NZ in Sprintcars over Xmas helps him a bit more with the ovals and being sideways again.
