- Lake Powell can be experienced in anything from a tent on a beach to a luxurious houseboat, but no matter how you experience Lake Powell, it's one of the most beautiful places on earth. I encourage anyone and
everyone to experience it at least once in their life. Look at google earth, zoom in on Lake Powell and you'll see this region has rich reds and oranges that are so unique, that once you zoom out and search the entire earth, you won't find those colors in too many other places on the entire globe. The size of the rock walls, hills, sand dunes, upper pools and so much more, that it never gets old spending time here. To get to wakeboard and wakesurf in this area with good friends creating good times is truly a blessing.

Water was a little cold. Had padre bay to ourselves basically! I'm so glad we put it all together! Low water made the boat ride bit longer not having the cut 3.5 hrs to destination! But still it was awsome!! I hope we get another run next year that would be GREAT!! 👍👍

Amazing set up... After Covid nuked or trip last year, I'm glad we made it back to powell this year, of all the places I have visited Powell will always be my favorite. Been going since I was born, only missed 2 years out of 37. I still remember your quote from way back when regarding Powell... "I didn't expect it to be this granger". It's been a while but I'm pretty sure that was it, cant remember the name of the video though.
Nice memory Holden! "I knew everything was going to be red and orange and water filled, but I didn't expect anything of this grandure." Had to look it up. I have the original file and maybe can share it one day!

Those kind of boats are usually owned in a partnership with a group and each owner gets a chunk of time with it.

I love lake Powell. My fam goes every year. Unfortunately we can’t afford a surf boat. Also I don’t recognize the bay u were in. Does anyone know?
Shadow, don't have to have a surf boat to enjoy Powell or even just the water. Even if it's just a swim and a canoe! Just get to the water!
