Hey thanks for the video. Would it be possible to make an explanation like this about the tuning/positioning of the twintip footstraps?

I bought a seat harness because the waist harness during lessons was jabbing my sternum. For the first season I had the seat harness too tight, which was tweaking my pelvis, but the second season I wore it slightly looser and had fewer pains the day after kiteboarding.

Great video. Can you summ up how to pull through the 4 straps with the Mystic in the best way? I never figured that out and improvised

Good stuff. Uncomfortable tight is what I tell everyone.

When i tighten the harness that much, how do i breath? Why not make the producers to design a waist harness that needs NOT to be tightend that much it hinders breathing? And if that is your customer service, telling me as a customer where and how i have to wear my harness, that it needs to be tighten like crazy, i would NEVER be your customer! I espect from my retailer that he has a product that needs not so much tightening and don´t tell me i´ve to take the stuff he has. I espect from a retailer if doesn´t have a product that I like, not him, that he gets in contact with his manufacturers and tells them their product isn´t sufficient for the demand and they have to develop a better product. But that seems not to be your politics.

Hi Rasmus, While it may seem that a tight harness is uncomfortable, its design is usually intended to evenly distribute pressure across your body. This reduces strain on specific points, making it more comfortable even when tightly secured. It also helps prevent the harness from shifting during kitesurfing.

@@Kitemana "While it may seem that a tight harness is uncomfortable". it may not only be uncomfortable - IT IS! And it limits my breathing abillity by restricting movement in my diaphragma and rip cage. Don´t tell your customer his observations are wrong. Also load doesn´t need to be evenly distributed across whole body, because load comes from frontside, or do you decline this also, you are not facing lines pull front on? The body part that gets pull is backside, logical when pull comes from frontside, no need for load distribution to frontside or right and left body sides. You still try to sell your product to a customer who wants a different one. Why not talk to your producers and ask them to build a product that: 1. doesn´t sit on rib cage but lower, making it unable to crush ribs. 2. stays in that belwo ribcage place, but without pulling it totally tight that dyaphragma is also hindered. 3 end of course no seat harness. Why have a retail shop at all when it doesn´t listen to customer needs and sees it not as communicator between customer and producer and artilulates the markets demands to the producers. For me as a customer, you are useless.

If your harness sits on your rib cage it’s not the fault of the harness, the manufacturer or Kitemana; it’s you. Learn how to properly fit and tighten a harness or get a seat harness.
The video is correct, you should tighten the harness until it feels uncomfortable without being hooked in to your kite. When you’re hooked in the kite will take the pressure off and it will be comfortable - yet unable to ride up on your rib cage.

@@MrTMMN Sorry, the harnesses i use:
      1: don´t sit on ripcage
2 Need no strong tightening and stay low
3: Are waist harnesses, not seat harness
My critic comes from reality, because i´ve two harnesses from different producers that have those properties.
This is why i critzise this "retailer", they are use and clueless, because they don´t know the market and are unable to meet customers demands, but tell them what to buy and how to use it. You seem to have the same mindset.
