Yooo super fire Finn gameplay as always. For projectile characters, I’d actually suggest occasionally timing a high five to reflect projectiles. A lot of people forget he can even do that in the first place, and it’s useful against characters like Marvin and Reindog. Also it seems like you already know but after using jab jab up tilt on Finn, just go for a dodge punish. They almost always dodge in
I love using high five as a mixup but its very risky so I dont do it too often with projectiles. The hitbox is super scuffed. Also yeah dodge reading after up tilt is def the most optimal way to do jt
@@lostgriff yeah with high five I found it works best to end a ladder combo by reading their dodge. Usually they either dodge out and downwards or just in, so I like to fast fall and then let go so the high five makes me air stall and hit them

I’ve only recently discovered your videos for multiverses and watched the last few , I have definitely jumped on the Finn bandwagon while watching you , his combos are so fun!! I recorded a bunch of kills that I was getting last night and plan to make a montage video , I feel I’m starting to improve . I didn’t main him in the beta cause of so many other characters I was using but I’ve been maining him now .

Finn got auto combos. Its so lame. Zero reason why nair follows on hit or why side special auto targets.

Nair literally tracks the opponent to follow up. And side special targets. That's auto comboing. It does it for you. no need to follow opponents DI the buttons do it for you. It's lame AF.
@@Obad87 Finn’s combos are definitely easier than you’d originally think but they aren’t easy in terms of “could someone unfamiliar with platform fighters do this on day one” they’re easier for people who have practiced high level smash for sure though.

@@trapdrippy2781 nah I usually win I just find him boring to play as. I don't feel good for hitting someone with nair having it follow their trajectory for an auto combo. And I don't like that side special target locks onto people. They could make him have to aim it and it would be just as good but take skill.
