If you want to provide that extra layer of cleanliness, you can deep clean your home yourself. Even though we don't provide services, a once a week deep cleaning is ok to do yourself.
With unlicensed, we do not provide services to our clients. Your clients should be fairly independent. Join our Facebook group! linktr.ee/thegrouphomeconnect
I can understand that you are theoretically providing a good service. But there are unscrupulous owners that have no accountability and are just doing it for money. They lure in Native americans off of the reservation and tell them they can be helped with their addiction but as you say they do not provide services. Our neighborhood is overrun with group homes and the residents leave trash and liquor containers all over, pass out on the sidewalk and pee in the bushes. In other words , ruining the neighbor hood. Sorry it’s a bad move and you are promoting it.
Hello and thanks for your concerns, unfortunately there is good and bad in every business. Fortunately the way I teach others and how I run my business is very positive and is definitely helping the community by getting the less fortunate a chance to be provided with a safe, clean, warm and positive homelike environment. Everyone is not fortunate as yourself to be able to provide everything they need to survive. They all have different stories to tell. Please don't be quick to judge and think that all group homes are bad and the people that live in them are bad. There are so many very good providers that are doing good in the community. The ones that are not should be held accountable. Perhaps trying having a meeting with those providers who you say are just doing it for money and let them know what is going on in your neighborhood. By the way I truly love when people say that providers " are just in it for the money". With any business you want to make a profit. If you are employed, you chose your job or career based on you wanting to make money to live and I'm sure you chose something you enjoyed or maybe you took your job just for the money. In closing majority of providers provide a nice home that is controlled meaning residents are not roaming the streets but simply want safe and affordable housing. Warm Regards
I absolutely understand. I'm trying my hardest to get started. Please help.
