I kept the rie rod, and strut attached and used a manual press, and a slide hammer.. worked pretty good, its that stupid snap ring!! I got it out fairly ez, i just mangled it out, but putting the new one in.. OMG broke 4 pairs of snap ring pliers.. wow

@@hyundaitech i didn’t want to pay for an alignment lol I’m cheap. So i just dropped the ball joint and left the strut and tie rod connected

Technically everytime you move something from suspension and steering you need to do alignment, but if alignment not accessible its not end of the world in my opinion, everything should be fine.
Need to replace the stud bolt on my tucson. Is there an easier way than removing the spindle, replacing the bearing and using a press?
Is it on the front or rear? Front maybe theres a room that you can just hammer it out depends on the room. And usually theres a slight room to just hammer out the affected stud. But if you are replacing the whole spindle i think thats different situation.
@@hyundaitech front. I got the old one out by using an angle grinder. But having difficulty putting in the new bolt.
@@Jbs116 so when installing you need a spacer before you install the nut then you can tightened the nut and the stud will just go in. Check online search wheel stud installer.

Yes i use the same, the only new is the bearing and snap ring
Is it recommended to replace the knuckle
Not really, the knuckle is for life, unless the bearing is stucked for good and then yeah no choice but to have a new knuckle. So far in my experienced never happened yet. Hahha.

Sorry sir, mahirap yan wala kaming spec for that kind of measurement unless may physical bearing ako and then i can measure it. Sorry
Did this to my girlfriend's car. I looked into it, and found they have loaded knuckles. For some cars,.......unfortunately not this one. Those would make real quick work out of this.
