Clannad was good ( heck it was great ), but i swear. It wouldn't have been half as sad if the background music wasn't this EPIC.

This anime is feels. The first time around I cried twice, but the second time it was literally everytime

This show will always be a favorite and I will recommend it to everyone who hasn't seen it

@@mikeluna2026 I just got the game on switch after reading Kanon + about an hour of AIR and seeing how much better than the anime AIR is (and I loved AIRs anime) also cause the opening song to the sequel Tomoyo After game is one of my favourite songs period at this point. Can't wait to start playing all 78 hours of it

This anime was amongst the greatest (and saddest) of all anime I have ever seen. After watching the two seasons just once, hearing this intro song was able to reduce me to tears.

Clannad is just so powerful,it could make a cold-hearted person cry. The storyline , the character, the music and everything else makes it so touching it feels like my heart is filled with sadness.
I forgot how amazing this is. I got distracted by Attack on Titan and Blue Exorcist openings.
I need to rematch Clannad. But first, I need another tissue box because I finished my old one off recently.

Shoot anyone knows what the tissues are for if they've seen clannad. You can say it was for "alone time" but we all know it was bc a little girl couldn't go to her big sisters wedding bc she was in a coma.
Only one thing I don't like about Clannad, and that's the fact Fuko went from such a big part of Clannad, to just a gag character; she only came in every now and again for comical effect.
Classy Muffin True, loved her but they really did do her dirty...Haven’t watched Clanned After Story yet, but I have a feeling she won’t return and that saddens me... :(

a shame her arc finished in like half a season. tbh i found her presence even as a gag to be pretty relieving. although yeah i kinda wish she did more even when she did pop in. i mean considering the kinda person she is i bet it'd be possible anyway
@@joshuapineda8708 To be fair, now that I think about it I don't think a gag character really belongs in After Story anyways, it would dampen the impact of the story.

It been 3 or 4 years since I last saw this anime and after story! And every time i listen to the OST, I get so emotional. I seen a lot of good animes in the past 4-5 years and this the only one that made me cry in every episode!
That first half second starts and my eyes have like this muscle memory to just start crying uncontrollably.

This is perhaps one of the most beautiful and sad animes out there. This is the only time watching an anime that I actually cried. Clannad will always be one of my favorites.

Quite possibly the finest anime ever put together. Plot, characters, animation, music EVERYTHING comes together perfectly here. Don't waste another minute without watching this and the second season of afterstory it will change your life.
One of the best anime I seen
I've gotten through the first DVD of Season 1. I almost cried at the end of the Fuko Ibuki arc.
This song is beautiful. I've just found out about Clannad a few days ago and I have only had time to see 9 episodes so far, yet I've already cried and have obtained emotional attachment to the characters. I can tell this will be an absolutely amazing series.

Usually, i always skip the theme songs for anime but i have to say that Key officially chooses the best theme songs in the world of anime history :)

No, she was never dead. It was just her spirit roaming around whilst her body was in a coma. Think of it positively :3

Fuko is of course shown to re-appear in after story, seen by all around her and out of her coma. Although Tomoya is the only one to remember Fuko's spirit, not even Fuko herself remembers the past events.
Oh and yes I know you've probably seen After Story already; the spoiler alert is for other readers.

Clannad has the most beautiful storyline. I've never cried as much as when watching this wonderful anime.
i have seen many many many Anime (about 130) but Clannad is the best i've ever seen in my life!
I'm now in the middle of "After Story" and i've read the content of the following episodes. But now i think i can't take it :-( i had tears in my eyes by only reading the content -_-

This anime helped me with many things, such as relationships. Men after you make your girlfriend or wife sad or angry, but a bread they made in your mouth and chase after them.

It's almost anoying how Key is everywhere I go. One of the first animes I saw was Air, back then I didn't know about Key. Later I found Clannad, and after I was done with Clannad After story, I found The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and K-ON!.
Key has been a part of all of those series!

It showed me that things change, it's never standing still, but when you look out you can also find new funny things, so this is no reason to give up.
It showed me that good things and sometimes also bad things happen, but when you look forward, you can go on.
It showed me how important family is.

You know one crazy fact?
In 2010 I've had a accident on my way home from school and nearly died. The first few episodes kind of reminded me of this incident.
Watching this changed my life.

I cried a few times when there were emotional parts in the anime. Like the part when Fuuko appears in front of her sister and disappears. And when Nagisa dies after giving birth to Ushio. And especially when Ushio dies. Man, I keep crying when it comes to this type of anime...

To be fair, it does teach many valuable life lessons and skills, especially in the second season. I think this is one of the first animes that has actually taught me something that will stick with me for the rest of my life.
