Kittle’s blocking was outstanding. Not enough props for this. Absolutely key to 2 of Deebo’s TDs and more
Maybe because people have gotten so used to his great blocking that it's not mentioned as much. The 49ers defense wasn't talked about a lot either, they had a great game, but the offense was so dominating it was overshadowed.
Kittle's double block should be a perennial highlight.

Rex is spot on with Purdy. Lived in SF all my life and watched all the big games in the 80’s as a teenager and a Niners fan. He gives Joe vibes, calmness, confidence, accuracy, stronger arm in my opinion but mostly that humbleness before and after a win or lost. Class act from Joe and Purdy.

It feels...lazy to compare Purdy to a past great of the same franchise, but so many times he looks just like Montana in terms of playstyle. The way he moves, not explosively but gracefully, always under control, ready to zip a pass on target short, medium or deep. His body type isn't exactly like Joe's, but otherwise he looks like the spitting image.
The guy I'd compare him to in the current game is another Joe: Joe Burrow. Burrow's taller and has a somewhat stronger arm, but they both have processing as their superpower and they both move exactly as much as they need to to get a throw off.
When it comes to football Rex gotta be a top 3 pundit on the whole network. Calls it exactly how it is

As a Niners fan, I was saying all week that the Philly defense isn't the same as last year. They aren't getting record sacks numbers or causing turnovers. They were a top 2 defense last year, but now they are 23rd. The Niners, though, are still comparable to last year on both sides of the ball.
As a cowboy fan, I agree and will say you guys are probably better in terms of Purdy now having more experience and adversity.

In 3 years, we will then have to pay more people, especially Brock, and that'll be crunchtime. But, with how we have restructured deals, and outside of Hufanga and Aiyuk we have paid everyone else, it seems like we will be amazing for the next 5-6 years. But, our playoff record with Shanahan and Kyles playoff record in general makes us all nervous. Hopefully we have a Love-Purdy playoff classic in a couple years.

Realistically, everyone is 'stoppable', but until the fully healthy 9ers actually lose a game, better yet, until the 9ers stop absolutely demolishing teams, it's very difficult to say anything other than unstoppable. The roster has pro bowlers everywhere, but the chemistry is unmatched.

The right side of the offensive line is a MAJOR weakness for SF. Purdy is just making plays to escape the pressure (most of the time).

niners technically does have a weakness. the OLine is the weakest link. problem is that purdy has so fast at processing the field and great at scrambles that it doesn't matter a good amount of the time. BUT if you have a team that can blow up that OLine and lock down everything else for just 3 seconds, then Purdy just won't be able to operate since he doesn't get 8 seconds like Hurts gets.
Long as Trent Williams is healthy, that line isn’t a weakness.. we saw the 49ers go on a bad stretch when he was hurt..

Prior to the 3 game skid. They were the favorites along with the eagles. CMC and Deebo were both dealing with injuries during that time. I also think Purdy is getting better throughout the season. As long as he and the majority of the team stays healthy. They will be my pick. Eagles have had way too many close calls with a little bit of luck. Dallas, maybe (but Dak tends to choke in the playoffs). Detroit doesn’t play well against other good teams! AFC- KC, no offensive. Jaguars, inconsistent. I see Baltimore in the SB and they have a pretty staunch defense, but Lamar doesn’t play well if he can’t extend plays and the niners have a defense that can pressure him.
I honestly was worried about facing them last year lol but we did play better last year.

Actually their oline is bottom tier in pass blocking. Eagles oline better. WRs just as good. Dline just as good. And offensive play calling is good as well

We can't have non team members getting opposing players thrown out of game.
There is no loss to the eagles to lose their security guard. If allowed, teams will start using that as a strategy to provoke key players of opposing teams & get them thrown out. This needs to be strongly addressed so it doesn't get out of control in future.
