Hi fellow RNs! I've just learned that there are some situations that even if CGFNS VS has "captured" the IELTS document already, if the nurse hasn't completed other school docs/ visa screen requirements and the IELTS will expire before the other docs have reflected in the VS portal -- that there's a possibility that CGFNS will require the nurse to pass a new IELTS again. Just fyi.

Hello Maam! Ask lang po if gaano katagal pa po kayo ako mag aantay bago makaalis papuntang US? As per my agency, my I-140 is already approved and was sent to NVC last December. Earlier today, sabi po ng agency ko meron na daw pong NVC fee bill. Ano na pong next step? Kakastart ko lang din po ng Visa Screen. Waiting lang pong mabayaran din ng agency ko yung fee sa CGFNS. Ang PD ko po pala is April 2021. Sorry medyo nalilito po ako. Sana masagot. Thank you 😊

Good evening! I'm currently a grade 12 student right now and I took STEM for me to get a course in college which is nursing. After finishing college and get my liscense, I have plans to work abroad. Unfortunately, I have a really poor eyesight and I'm using a dentures, is there any possibilities that I can continue to work abroad even if I have a health problems like that?
Yes you can. It doesn't matter my dear. We are in fact the same. I wear glasses too and I do have dentures🤷♀️
If may relative po ako sa us na kukuha sa akin para maging permanent resident doon, pwede ba nila ako irefer sa hospital para magka work ako kahit hindi nag nclex o ano pa man? Yung isang relative ko Kasi ay nurse doon.

Hi Ms Gail, baka may info ka lang. I’m an NCLEX passer, pero wala po akong PRC as I have not taken the local board. Makakapag apply ba ako sa Visa Screen? Kasi I already have sponsor, na hire na ako pero parang di na nagget back ang agency ko nung malaman nya na wala akong prc.

My brother's wife is a nurse and her CEO is contacting me since last week. Gusto nya mag recruit ng nurses sa pilipinas. Take Ielts first. Pag na reach mo target band score mo do the visa screen agad kasi once na may visa screen kana 5yrs na ang validity ng ielts instead of 2yrs.
Ang ceo na ito gusto na pumunta sa iloilo para mag conduct ng interview sa mga nueses pero ang concern ko wala pa kaming na tapped na agencies at halos walang nclex
As for me po kasi walang kakayahan sa funds kaya nag tap ako ng agency.

is there any states that will allow the NCLEX exam to be taken without "work experience"?

@@anjirom9974 nobody answered but I figured. Typically work experience is important for non-us citizen to get visa. If ur us citizen, some state like Texas will let u take nclex and get the lic. u just need to work with the agency to translate and proof of ur overseas education and diploma.

Current po yung priority date ngaun so mabilis lang pag na approved na ung i140 nyo. Weeks or 1 month lang.

5 years na po ako permanent government nurse, still pinush ko pa din ang American dream ko. Nasa visa screen na ako. 11 years na kong Nurse pero never ako nag-abroad. Parehas kaming permanent nurse sa government ng husband ko. Sa totoo lang mahirap ang buhay sa Pinas, gusto namin ng brighter future para sa magiging mga anak namin.

@@tanyasalazar7177 Hi! I applied in a direct hiring agency. They advised me to get married before the fee bill. I passed the NCLEX last July, applied on the same month sa dalawang direct hiring agency. The first agency scheduled my interview but I declined the offer, I tried to weigh the Pros and Cons po. On my second interview, the offer was way better. Then, sabay pong nagrereview for IELTS while inaasikaso ng agency ang I-140. September po nagpakasal kami 😅 3 weeks prep lang. Very intimate lang po kasi prefer namin. December po, I passed the IELTS and sabay po na-approve ang I-140 ko. Agad po akong nag-asikaso ng VS 😅 I also sent my civil documents sa agency. Sila na nag-include sa husband ko po. 😊

Hi same scenario po. 10yrs ago na din yun hosp experience ko. At wala na akong copy ng COE ko from previous employers/hoapital. What other proof did they asked from you for your hosp experience.?

Cgfns visa screen? Once you get it, you can renew it every 5 years. But if kukuha ka pa lang ng visa screen, you have to meet and submit all the requirements within 1 year otherwise bayad ka ulit.
