would awesome to get a long video with the most common and best sounding sounds of MRI with the names of the sequences. Personally I love the sound of DTI and TOF
and nice GE signa magnet ! i might have said this but i was scanned by this machine as a kid (it was a brain w/o contrast routine exam). in the beginning, the sequence noises made me feel a bit reluctant about going forward with the exam but i was actually able to tolerate it and the technologist was proud of me for lying still.
Always cool to hear these, the first and only scan i really had was back in the 90s on what i believe was a GE Signa LX.
Wow the localizer is very slow and the calibration is very deep
I literally fell asleep in one today. He asked what music I said Yanni. Then the MRI came on like Megadeath. And it somehow meshed and then I was asleep. And her I am trying to find it again
Love these sounds keep up the great vids
your content is greatly appreciated !
I love this sounds like
Cool 😎 the sounds are noisy but awesome
You're the best btw! Thank you for all of the support!
I would love more
What scanner did you use? GE? My favourite sound was the buzzing sound followed by the knocking. Wasn’t that the T1 Axial sequence?
Just had one a few hours ago, in mine the last 9 minutes the sound, sounded like someone knocking on the door annoying af, actually was getting agitated
You can make a song out of it.
Nice video! I had a question on what a time-of-flight MRI is? Is it at all different from a normal MRI or the same thing?
I have to get a MRI for my left foot I am a little bit nervous about what may happen but I know it won't last long
Toc toc toc toc toc wee wee wee wee wee
Can you do an entire video with someone inside?
calibration scan?
But how are these noises generated?
The coils vibrating
please can you help me on this system ? how to combine T2 sagittal images ? GE is very new thing for me ( have worked on newest philips machines )
Hi! I saw your post on the GE MRI FB group. I would be happy to help. Could you provide more details? What do mean by combine T2 Sagittal images? What screen are you on when trying to combine (Scan setup, post processing, etc)
Please send details to support@mripetctsource.com. Thank you!
u had another video that screen recorded the software, where is it?
Hi! We recently reorganized and renamed the videos available on our CZcams channel. Can you please be a little more descriptive so I can help to find the video?
@@MRIPETCTSupportEngineer it was a screen recording of the software that is used to run the mri and it wasn’t filmed with a camera like in some of the vids i saw
I am wondering how do you the technicians keep their ears safe with all that nasty loud noise?
they work in a different room that's heavily soundproofed. The reason you can hear it in the video is most likely because there is a microphone in the actual machine room.
I know that they can probably see what's going on, but what it the person in the MRI was like screaming for help or something and they wouldn't be able to hear 0_0
@@AdelaTomankova They have microphones, speakers, etc to monitor those types of things. Also, in most MRIs, the patient holds a squeeze thing that alerts the operator.
