absolutely..I should have mentioned that many people do save receipts--which makes it even harder to recognize a fake piece because the fake receipts look very good..but like yourself, there are plenty of people who do save their receipts.
I have bought some Chanel CC earrings from Vestiaire. She bought it from Harrods but I know that you can buy a receipt. Apparently it's a business for her but she's only making £140 profit from me.

How can I find out about older in marked Chanel? I know in the late 30s or 40s there was a company that copied Chanel designs on the cheap. How or where can I find information on the old Chanel?
hi Kristyn- In 1941 There was a company called the Chanel Novelty Company...They actually put the word "Chanel" on the back of their jewelry.. It was always in cursive script. Coco Chanel sued them, and won..so they had to stop selling using the name "Chanel"..and they had to change their name...You will not see an authentic Chanel piece with the name in cursive.. Chanel actually has a font they use--The details are in my videos.

I’m in the process of buying some Chanel studs , the backs of the earrings are stamped and extra safe , should there be a marking on the back of the actual stud , and they are 18k white gold
not quite sure what your question is...Are these earrings for pierced ears? If so, the small piece that hooks over the stud does not need to be marked...If that doesnt answer your question, feel free to ask again.

hi..very difficult to tell with Chanel hats. The most consistent thing to look for is shoddy workmanship, wavy seams, ..but not easy. There are authentication services online..You send them the item, and they let you know whether it is real or Fake for a fee. I can tell most garments and jewelry, but the better authentication sites do things like, count the stitches per inch,, etc.,Some of those services are not always accurate, so you should get their decision in writing.

And it come in a cart with the Words “ this is an exclusieve gift do not sell “ in a plastic Bag

hello . Chanel does have VIP gifts, from time to time, given to certain people at various exclusive events.. They are generally very nice, and sometimes they are seen for sale online by the people who received them.I have never been given one by Chanel, so I dont know whether they have an opinion as to whether they can be resold or not. . Often it is a trinket as opposed to a piece of jewelry...and it is entirely possible that some people may try to pass off low quality copies as a VIP gift, but if it is cheaply made it is not a VIP Chanel gift.

I wish I could tell you something that would apply to all Chanel jewelry...but I cant..They use all sorts of clasps, and sometimes even hooks.
