Why does everyone overlook Reggie Nalder? He was a HUGE part of what made this film so scary!
Loved the book and tv series or whatever it was. Some genuinely horrific scenes in a quiet underrated way.

Brilliant horror film. Truly scary.
The version of Barlow in this TV movie is one of the most hideous looking vampires put on film. He was a blue snake like demon. Horrific looking. Any remake will always be inferior. Glad David Soul is still alive and doing well.
Agreed Brendan..he was based on Max Screck's vampire Count Orlock in the 1922 film 'Nosfratu'

The creepiest, scariest vampire ever seen on screen...and he has a common, everyday name. Wow!
I remember commenting on James Mason on a film site, less than a month ago. Then, when looking up at the tv, purely by chance, I saw that Alfred Hitchcock presents was on. I thought one character looked familiar, a familiar voice, the works. It took a moment before I realized it was Jimmy.
