I skipped on the Figuarts one so I pre ordered the mafex one. They are pretty similar but for the same price mafex is more worth it. Waiting for their Andrew fig as well
SHF seems better in my opinion.

Based on promos, does the Mafex overtake the S.H. Figuarts as the best 1/12 Spider-Man?

The butterfly joints and shoulders of mafex look weird, doesn't look as poseable as the shf either, only reason i see to go for it is if you missed the shf or you simply want a more accurate tobey maguire headsculpt
If I could get a figuarts rn for a reasonable price I’d get it but I can’t so mafex will at least get me one of them
The mafex imo seems a little bit botched with the neck/shoulder area, his traps go above his suit neck line which just looks off imo. I’m still preordering it but his proportions seem all over the place
Mafex has a weird neck-body connection. I hope this is just for the prototypes.
Mafex do some of the best Spideys. Surprised to see this so they need to fix the neck.

The colors on the Mafex one are better but in terms of overral look SH figuarts is better. I really don't like the big shoulders and the area around the neck it seems like he's wearing a pull over lol

Maybe the colours are a bit more vibrant on the Mafex but I really like the SHF. The only thing is it has loose legs. It needs to be swinging which is better than just standing in a neutral pose.
@@Dragonoid22 agree. Obviously for a real judgement we have to wait that the mafex version is out but the shoulders are too big the shf has the perfect presentation of Tobey spiderman in no way home and also the shfhead sculpt in my opinion is better looking for an older Tobey the mafex looks like more younger like the marvel legends one. But it's just my opinion
@@mattewross714 mafex wanted it to look more like the Spider man from Spider-Man 3. It has some muscle and doesn't look skinny like the Sh F. Obviously we don't know till it comes out.
@@Dragonoid22Could you explain the SHF one having a loose leg? I’ve been seeing videos saying their Tobey has a loose leg but it’s still overall a great figure
