Had sinus surgery last week. more specifically it was septoplasty, turbanite modification, and polypectomy. I'm currently rinsing my sinuses multiple times a day to help with the healing process. Goodness this is the video Ive been looking for. It seems that noone who are making these sinus cleansing videos are showing how to rinse the full interior of the sinus. Because standing up squirting water into your nose isnt going to be enough to get all of it. They also dont tell you to hold your finger over your nostrils so that the water doesnt go down your throat so that you can breathe and allow the solution time to work. Not doing it exactly as it is in this video would only allow you to rinse the sinus floor. Laying down and standing up will help. but you would be limited to how long you can hold your breath. This video explains everything perfectly to do it right and effectively.

Had 1st surgery in 2013. 4 weeks later thought I was going to die. Went to different doc. Had to redo surgery and discovered I had contracted Klep Pneumonia. Referred to infectious disease clinic. You cannot do this with too much liquid going into your nose - but a sure fire method is to put some water in your mouth and lie back - do not swallow it... However, you obviously need to be able to breath through your nose though! Which perhaps you cannot because of your blocked sinuses... So it becomes a catch 22. But if you can breathe through your nose - then use this method and squirt the nasal spray into your nose and then sniff it up... That way the nasal spray/fluid shouldn't run down into your throat.

This metod works perfect. I finally could eradicate stuff from this part of my sinus (using sailing solution with Lugola fluid - 50mg for bottle and afer some time 200mg for 240ml bottle). This was painfull but i cleaned front of my sinus, and afer coupe months they are clean :)

@@asumandemirel5225 Yes. I placed a towel arond neck (sometimes when i pour fluid one nostral fluid would come out the other one).
In beginnging i cleaned my forhead sinus, by hanging my head off the bed and pouring this fluid (water+ salts+ Lugola fluid). When they become clean, i started to flush mu sinus regular way - standing up above the sink. Afer some time, i cleaned my sinus the way it is show on this video.
I had 2 operation of my sinus and they didnt solve the problem, this metod did.

I spot one thing, once you start to see some blood inside mucus (while pouring fluid into your sinus), it means that stuff is destroyed in a spot, the next coupe of days you still clean your sinus using like 25mg of Lugola fluid for wolę 240ml bottle - so this spot can heal.

I use distilled water & a few drops of apple cider vinegar and put it in my nose with a small syringe. It hurts, but it works well. Stay calm, breathe slowly and it works.

First you need to know that Doctors will not help you, no one will help you but yourself! i Had an idea what would help me but i never actually sticked with it for too long, and that was the problem, there are allot of cures out there you just need to stick with it!
I would advise you to do the next steps :
- Check for apnea moutpieces- maybe helps you sleep better, breathe deeper wih it
-Saline with xylotol is ok for rinsing (it will not do anny change tho it's for hygene mostly)
-Certain foods can be a trigger, try juices (cellery is good) for few weeks - after that try to Fast for few days and if you breathe better it's probably a food problem(dairy)
- Making your room CLEAN erryday, Oils for relaxation and Humidifiers for cold moist air when i'ts too dry (you should get a good Humidifier but it will not make drastic changes,)
-The biggest changes come from Exercises in right times, Nutrition and good habbits! (drinking pills when the allergies come, doing massages on the face and the sinus points/accupuncture points)
I still struggle, but the best change came after i stopped blaming everyone arround me for my troubles, when i took this into my own hands and started living healthier!
if you smoke , stop it, if you eat trash food , stop it, You really need to take effort and you nose will start working again!
