Awesome pal 2nd time I’ve watched this some brilliant footage and loads of adventure 👍🏻👍🏻
We do try mate 😄👍.. all for the reward of a packet of crisp and a pint of milk
Hi Martin. wow that was some kind of wind. i bet that was a bit scary at the time, but what a good vlog it made.
Got to find the action shot somewhere mate 🤣. Was ridiculous wind though. Must have been blowing down off the mountain 👍
Brilliant video mate, thanks again for the invite and showing me the routes 👌👌
Thanks mate. 👍. Enjoyed the company.. we fitted a lot in . Cant beat those roads, and a thousand more to explore. 👍
Water spouts...
That happened to Saffy Sprocket up in the artic circle in Northern Norway OOPS... blew her right off the side of the of the road broke 3 ribs
👍. I watched that with saffy. Scotlands the poor mans arctic 😄
Yeah I watched that too,she was so unlucky to land on a rock!!! Lucky that there was people to rescue her
She was almost at the north cape in Norway
@GromFandango at the Arctic circle ,Correct... thats where she "walked" to after she was rescued... because it hurt too much to ride.
To the monument
Flips had one too many whisky 🤣.. nicely corrected
Love Defender Glenn. Nice to see you out that way. Middle of winter though 🤣
Why not mate. Gotta push yourself in life 🤣... my firepit is still there. Remember digging that out 1st year we arrived.
Fabulous, thanks!!!!!
Cheers and Thanks for watching 👍
Tough lads i tell ya, i live around and bike these parts myself and we the locals dont venture out in that, usually start of March before we venture out, may even be April, sub 12c temps can be pretty cold on a bike, those must be warm heated jackets and well waterproof, not many will come round our way and camp in winter, well done lads
No heated jacket for me!! Just a really good base and mid layer with the @Rev’it dirt series jacket 👌
Put me big coat on 🤣. It was worse last year. Lucky with lack of snow.. just the wind. Supported by Gerbing did help though with heated gear. 👊. For me, kai relying on layers and decent gear. To be honest.. I love a challenge 👌
Very entertaining travelogue. I just love the way you murder the placenames. :) The longest glen in Scotland is pronounced Glen "lion" and well worth riding all the way to the end.
That's about a 20KT wind over the surface of the water, heaven knows what it was like higher up, funnelling down that glen.
🤣.. And Im a Murray 👊.. I usually give 2 renditions of placenames im not sure of pronouncing. And your the first to correct 👌😀. And now I know after being in the glen around 8 visits in. I have been to the end and over to killin via the byway. Beautiful road. Cheers 👍
Glen Lyon is in the south of France
Inspiring - feels way too early to camp but clearly not! I've tried to jot down the places you went so I can give that route a go myself. Thanks for posting.
Never too early to camp Sean.. just having right gear.. clearly our tents weren't though 🤣. Obviously the vid is cut so bits are missing between sections.
Start at Hawick, cross martins bridge and follow to alemoor reservoir, carry on to buccleuch and end of road turn right, then 1st left toward st marys loch. Head toward innerleithen.
Highland route. Aberfeldy/ fortinghall.. stop at 5000yr old yew tree for break. Into glen lyon, to post office..left at bridge of balgie. Ben lawers rd over mountain to loch tay and then killin.
Reccomend stop overs killin hotel, or glengoulandie campsite. Thanks for watching 👊
@@ALCHEMOTO thanks very much for the turn by turns!
Surprised the bikes stayed upright in that wind!
Great thing about heavy bikes 😁.. did a bit of blowing about that day for sure 😁👍
Nice one mate, love to do it on the fatboy, but I'd need glorious weather for it. See ya soon pal
👍. Thanks mate.. be nice on the beast in the sunshine.. argyll peninsula would be the perfect tour on that 👊. Message you over weekend 👍
Welcome back up mate, 🏴your knowledge and riding up here is great to watch, and I bloody live here ! Hopefully get a run in with yae this year somewhere 👍🏼👍🏼
A Murray in the Glens is a Murray at home mate 😄👊.. I will be North again at some point. Be great to share a few roads and a Whisky or 2 👌.
Great trip, but always have the bike on the side stand facing away from the tent. If it falls over, it falls away, not on top of you.
Now that is wise advice mate 👍.. never give it a thought and Im mr health & safety 🤣. Cheers 👊
Woo lads awesome trip you nearly rolled off the dam that wind was mad glad your both safe 👍 ATB Trev
👍.. I said that to Kai, 6ft to the right he would have been over the dam wall 🫣. Cheers Trev 👊
Also I remember taking photos at the base with the crew at the bottom of that dam. 29.36. Can't believe the strength of that wind man. 😂
Brilliant road over Ben lawers to the dam. Remember those pics on the dam wall 😁. We were lucky no snow but damm that wind was ridiculous 👊
Well done guys and fair play to be taking on the highlands at this time of year 👊 RIDE SAFE
Cheers mate 👍. We were lucky with the milder weather at least 👊
that was a good body roll your mate did when the bike went..
🤣. Think he knew he was on Cam 🤔. Good job he didnt roll down the Dam 🤣
@@ALCHEMOTO dam busters comes to mind lol..
@moonbear6220 🤣🤣👍
Awesome watch guys, some roll when the bike blew over. Don't know how you both kept upright. Massive credit taking on the highlands in the winter, glad your safe. 👌👊
Cheers Steve 👊. We were dissapointed from the lack of snow 🤣. So the wind made up the drama. I didnt want to come home 😁.. But yes, all safe and ready for the next vlog 👊
Ask Bricknell about the wind we all hit going through glencoe years ago on the Skye run... don’t know how we got through it
I can imagine the winds on that road . Ive passed through in torrential rain one year and wondered how we got to tyndrum in one piece 🤣👌. Will mention it to Brickers
Absolutely amazing watch fella proper adventure and fat man on a bandit at the end 😂
Cheers mate.. I didnt see a fat man, just thought there was an eclipse 🤔🤣👊
Need to carry QUININE TABS With you for Cramping
What the fook are them 🤔😄
Ahhh 👍.. yep, that was a bad cramp 🤣.. will have to put them tabs in the first aid kit 😁
@@ALCHEMOTO I get mine from London... OBAMA made them illegal here... Help a lot with the cramping from MS 👍👍 I ALWAYS carry them with me ... DO NOT LET THEM DISOLVE IN YOUR MOUTH... You'll be sorry ... YUK !
@FlipandTheBlueMule that bloody Obama 🤣.. better keep them seperate from viagra 😉🤣
Enjoying yer craic; better than yer place name pronunciation!
Good entertainment, gwan yersel.
I should know better being a Murray 🤣👊
Looked like a tsunami coming at you, great roads and defo news to take the fatbob up to killin, as usual great commentary to go with the great views👍🏻👍🏻
Was bizarre that water above water 🤣. Defo reccomend killin, and south loch tay to aberfeldy 👊. Cheers. Appreciate the watch mate 👌
Hardcore biker's from Cheshire. Well done guys. Dragon Rally this weekend??
👊. Cheers Mark 👍.
No dragon rally for me. Still recovering 🤣.. maybe next year, knowing my luck it would be snowed in 😄
