It's so interesting that with restrictions we can be more free to compose than having infinite possibilities to play that makes we feel paralized. New idea to try. Thanks!

You’re very welcome! Option paralysis is a real thing. When in creative doubt, increase your limitations

Somehow this changed my view towards music theory (again) I just love how just 12 notes of Music can change things so much. Loved the video!! ✨

That makes me really happy! All advanced and complex music theory concepts can be made simple with a strong understanding of music fundamentals

That's a really interesting way of visualising the theory behind your process. Going to subscribe for more interesting ideas!

Thanks for sub! Any guitar or music theory/songwriting topics you'd like to see explored on the channel?

Dude this is a brilliant way to look at it. I struggle with theory applications sometimes and this is a wonderful analogy.

Is this riff in a song you wrote? It’s seriously really good, I need to hear it in a song man

Thanks! Not yet, I wrote this riff just for the video. I am working on a batch of songs for an EP though, I might expand on this riff and turn it into a full song for that

Is there a place where you've tabbed out these chords?

    Cool video man
We actually can make metal to be full of possibilities, but some people just don't like it, instead they (some of western metal community) trying to achieve more heaviness and down tuned things that sounds boring and monoton.
that's why i sticked more to Asian metal, because their community didn't limit them and hated them for being different.
