- Ellen DeGeneres is sending well wishes to her ex, Anne Heche, amid her hospitalization following the car crash that has left her in a coma. The former daytime talk show host gave a brief comment on the actress when a photographer asked if she's spoken to her since the accident. Ellen also sends kind words to Anne saying, 'I don’t want anyone to be hurt.'

She obviously had her demons and it has to be said that from the video footage, she was driving like a maniac and maybe under the influence of something.....however, I wish her peace and I'm truly glad the woman whose house she smashed into is alive and her beloved pets also!

I saw this when they were reporting on the crash live on TV. When they brought her out they had her covered from head to toe.. right before they were placing her into the ambulance she rose up trying to get off the stretcher.. she looked to be alright.. no scratches from her shoulders up.. they pushed her down and covered her completely up again. This is very strange that she died.. something isn't right..

1. Was really super weird that Ellen was ambushed like that to comment on her long-ago ex's tragic accident, and
2. Have to admit Ellen came off super cold here. It makes me very sad to see someone who, I believe, was suffering with the disease of addiction not make it to the rooms of recovery. Unfortunately, this happens every day. At the end of the day, what happened to Anne strengthens my resolve towards my own recovery which is going on seven years now. I truly love her and all addicts in and out of the rooms. To her kids, I’m sorry you lost your mom. If you or someone you know is struggling with the disease of addiction, help is available. You never have to use again.

I don't know the latest but apparently she's in a coma and is still critical. I am not a lesbian or bi but her and Ellen's relationship never bothered me. Only later when other things came out did I question how I viewed Ellen. But I can completely relate to Anne. I didn't get sober until I was 50 or so, give or take a year. It was horrible. I pray Anne survives and lives to be her own advocate and that her future years will be her best years.

It means she has a different life and as Anne said herself they took different paths.
