I’m 81. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis along with swelling in my feet and legs. Pray that I have some days of relief during the up coming holidays so I can enjoy it with my daughter, her hubby and their daughter, my only grandchild. My granddaughter is 21 now. I still live alone and keep my home relatively neat and clean as I am able. Just pray that I have strength to continue to have what I call great days. I love your channel. I keep smiling. Gah! That Little Boy Blue story made me teary. My maternal grandmother was really into Christmas, but lived far away - our Christmas memories were giant boxes that would arrive from them along with a Hallmark ornament. Long after she stopped sending my sisters and me ornaments, she would still send my mom Hallmark ornaments - whatever they had for baking and/or sewing. The first year my grandma was gone, I decided to step in and buy my mom those ornaments. One of the ornaments was a limited quantity and I missed it by minutes. I tearfully told the employee that I was trying to buy my mom what my grandmother would have purchased for her had she still been around, and that employee grabbed one from the back - possibly one that she had planned on buying. It was such a special gesture that I still think about each year. Those traditions and memories are so special, even though more and more are tinged with the longing to see people again.
I loved hearing about your little boy blue tradition. That is so so special. Grief is hard man, and such a weird roller coaster that comes and goes. So grateful for memories and traditions that help us remember our loved ones ❤️ thank you for sharing!

I have you to thank for teaching me so much about minimalization, organization, and parenting!!! I struggle with digestive issues as well and i've always found you SO relatable and so real talking about your digestive issues too (I'm no soy, gluten, eggs, or dairy).
I watched your videos before I was expecting, while pregnant, breastfeeding, and now my daughter is five and I still continue to love to watch the content you create. Honestly, when I don't feel good (either mentally or physically) and one of your videos pops up, I always immediately click to watch because you've become a source of comfort in my home! Your calming voice, the topics you choose to talk about, you're loving nature, It reminds me of my childhood and at the same time gives me a sense of direction in a way. It's not like making massive life decisions, more like "Do I really want to waste my time folding baby clothes when I could just use Natalie's method and put all like things together in the same drawer?" Saved me SO much time.
And the fact that you are so open about being okay with constant change in your life has genuinely helped me deal with change in my own life. Example being, when one way of organization no longer works for you, you are more than willing to talk about it and that it might not work for you, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't work for others, it just doesn't work for your home. I adore that way of thinking and plan to use it next time organization comes up in conversation!!!

Stumbled across your channel earlier this year and immediately had a connection with you, your home and your lifestyle. We also live rural surrounded by woods and really love it. I can be in our small downtown in 13 minutes but to get to Trader Joe’s, Publix and home decor stores it takes me 45 mins to an hour. But I’ve known this way my entire life and don’t really make it an issue. We like the privacy and serenity and the feeling closer to God in our setting. I am French and live in Paris, with a full time job and 3 kids, I am quite busy, and I guess that what I appreciate most on your channel is the peace of mind, the kind vibes and gentleness.
I was so lucky when raising my two kids because my son just really enjoyed cleaning out the fridge. He was never asked to but just started doing it when he was about 8 yrs old. Hi Natalie, I have been watching your channel for 2 yrs. Now. You hooked me with the decluttering video of over 80% gone. I never thought of getting rid of the things I "thought I needed" to make my home look good or feel comfy. I did "badmouth" myself as I was getting things ready to donate then heard you say "it has served it's purpose" and "I'm in a different season of life now so it needs to go". ( it bei g the stuff)OH MY GOODNESS!!, That was an eye opener right there!! For me. I'm 69 yrs of life and have never heard anyone put the reason we change what serves us and what doesn't "season of Life". I have kept decluttering going on a monthly basis, as I only do 1 area at a time (kitchen, bathroom, hall closet, grandkids room, craftsetc..) I'm in the process of re-doing my "formal living room " into a play room,craft room, exercise room, library. SORRY this is so long, I just wanted to let you know how much of an inspiration you are not only to the young but to someone as old as I am! Just one more thouht, I lost my grandparents a long time ago ( in the 80's and 90's) and to this day I still miss them. They were a very huge part of my life more so than my dad. I don't think that feeling of missing them ever goes away! I strive to make that same impact on my grandkids! LOVE you dear sweet child of GOD!

I found your channel when your boys were in kindergarten, but I didn't start watching regularly until you started your messy to minimal series. Now my boys are just about to wrap up their kindergarten year in a few weeks. I really do appreciate your gentle approach to motivation, I suffer from chronic illness and 8/10 days are low energy days for me. Most days for me are dedicated to teaching my boys and preparing meals for my family, a lot of the tidying and cleaning gets put off until a non-school day when I have more energy.

I found your channel in 2020 after I had my second child. I definitely love the gentle motivation of your channel and your faith which I share. I used to subscribe to several homemaking/lifestyle CZcams Chanel’s but found that most of the Chanel’s were unrealistic and even at times toxic. Very perfection focused. Lol unattainable for me with 2 kids and 1 on the way. I love your little catch phrases like “Progress over perfection” . The Lord has used you to encourage me in many ways! Hi Natalie. I have been watching for a few years now. I am a first time mom to a 6 month old baby boy who spent his first month of life in the NICU and getting diagnosed with severe reflux. It has been a major adjustment being a first time mom of a baby with more health concerns, working full time job that is pretty stressful, taking care of our home and still trying to find time to have fun and make memories. Your videos are what help push me to keep up with out house on days when I am low on energy and really motivate me when times are tough so thank you. My mom has currently moved in with us as she has fibromyalgia, diabetes and just got diagnosed with congestive heart failure so I am not adding taking care of my mom to my plate. Some days are beyond overwhelming, but I look forward to your videos every single week❤

You guys have been such a blessing to me the last what…Almost 5 years now!? I’ve listened to you both while decluttering our 100 year old craftsman style home. Your style and the calm feel to your videos have just fit in well with the direction the Lord has been taking us and our home, physically and spiritually. I started watching your channel and I believe started subscribing when you did the huge declutter of your home. That was the ultimate motivation. It also helped me to remember that there are different interpretations of minimalistic. Mine fits me and it might not fit the definition for my sister. However clean we share the same definition. OMG YES to all you said about the robot vacuum. It really feels like a little machine that makes you able to multiply and work on more than one thing at the same time.
This morning I started a load of laundry, started the dishwasher, started our robot vacuum that also mops and got out of the door to attend my classes. I was so thankful in that moment. Did I need a few minutes to collect the laundry and pick up the floors? Absolutely. But without the technology we have, these tasks would have taken me HOURS.
I live somewhere where dryers are not a thing, so when I returend it took me about half an hour to unload the dishwasher and hang up the clothes for drying. But that's still not even an hour I spend on housework. And your video kept me company while I took a break from my desk work to do something with my hands and relax.
I just realized that I usually pair housework with your Q+A videos while I enjoy watching your get it all done with me / decluttering videos when I am sitting down with a cup of coffee. It's just so satisfying to see your progress in these videos :D While with the Q+A, I can just listen to what you say and don't need the visuals.

Hi there! I stumbled upon your videos when I was decluttering my house and wanting tips. It was right when you were finishing up your first big declutter at the old house. Then I realized just how many things I admire and share when it comes to your values (faith, family, parenting, marriage, etc.). I was a new mom at the time and it was great to have this for inspiration and positivity. We are remodeling a big house on land now, and can't wait to move out of our 1200 sq ft house.
