The expectations were high, but fairly early on I had to ask myself one question -- have they gone overboard with the amount of features here? Will the headset still be able to win me over?

What are the best gaming headsets out there right now? 😅
And would you rather pick up a headset or buy separate headphones and a microphone? 🤔

You should try IEM's, i.e. KZ ZEX PRO or CCA CRN for gaming.

Nice review. I'd rather buy separate, but if a headset can compete with dedicated headphones and mic, then sure. What do you recommend though? I use an old Sony DS6500 and a Cloud Flight, not for music but mostly movies and games. I'm always on the lookout for good wireless over-ear closed-back $250 headphones, removable mic or no mic. Thinking about EPOS H6. edit: Nevermind, H6 isn't wireless and the other EPOS models don't have detachable mics.

I’m using Senheisser X58 Jubilees, ZS12’s, Corsair HS70SE’s and a few other IEM’s for my gaming sessions and a Antlion wireless Mod Mic.

Like your unique reviews. I would have never heard of this headset from other tech channels. Cool work 👍🏼

Great review once again Nicholas🥳👍! I’ve personally been using Senheisser X58 Jubilee, ZS12’s and rarely used Corsair HS80 SE’s for my gaming sessions for a number of years now as I’m not much of a discord multiplayer gamer, but mostly a single person open-world player and love the sound of what more professional headphones have to offer over nasty gaming headsets etc I also went down the Antlion wireless mic route for when it’s needed. Although sounds heard by people is an individual experience but for me my headsets offer much better sound, bass, immersion etc! Tbh thou, I’m impressed with these Creative headsets in terms of aesthetics, features and mic quality and if the sound is half as good as the aesthetics, users will be in for a treat! Keep up the great work my man! Love your work. Cheers 🍻

I wonder why most headsets don't put a little lock for the head size adjustments. Just a tiny screw or latch to lock the extending arms into place after you adjust them to your head.

I'm in a journey for the ultimate budget sound setup for gaming and I'm very curious about the SXFI hype once it seems to match the FPS games that I play - like Escape from Tarkov, which a good speciality makes a lot of difference to spot enemies.
So instead of the Creative SXFI headset, I'm more towards the Soundblaster X4 (which comes with Battlemode) and gives the same feature to any headset.
I'm also considering a good wireless option, and in this case would be some 2.4 wireless headset like Corsair's Virtuoso + Soundblaster X4. Latency or quality loss issues this way?
Does someone here had this experience already or have the Creative headset? Does it works better with open or closed back headsets? any other thoughts or suggestions on this?

Are you secretly building a full "Creative" setup?

Its not really that expensive tho like 80$
    Most gaming headphones cost 60$
