incorrect , external glands a re CW , you are using a gland for inside only , so the weather is not and issue , also on a site when doing multiple connections you dont have a bench in front of you , i have used mainly a ringing tool or a junior hacksaw not a full size hacksaw as it can cause the armour strands to be untidy
that cpc can just be terminated straight to your socket no need for the cpc to go to earth terminal in the box has the box would have already been earth from fitting the earth ring.
Incorrect. This needs to be terminated into a cpc terminal as the box could have a coating around the metal which stops earth continuity. Best to terminate it.
